Sorry lads. Was actually doing ok, leading for a bit I think, but then decided to actually focus on what could make me money

Just finished a 2.75$ 10K GTD tourney in something like 3500th place, to many lols. I'd only had AQ in something like 50 hands so my play percentage (blinds always raised) was something like 8%, so I thought it was time to play a little. Get 68 suited in spades in late position, so I make the call, knowing that donk of all donks to my right has called too. Anyway, flop comes 248, two spades. Great flop for me, it checks round so I bet out, blinds fold and donk thinks for a bit, before calling. Anyway, turn is a 2. He bets enough to put me all in. I should have folded (he didn't really bet much, more of a chaser), but couldn't feasibly believe he really had it, or was frustrated, something like that, but I called and he turned over 25 offsuit :lol:

River was an ace, but no flush, so that was that. Pretty lulz.

Bastards! Was on to possibly win a 45-man sit 'n' go turbo, but extremely high blinds made it pushy poker. Look down at Aces - go all in - get four callers!

They check it around until the turn, when one commits a bet when a King hits. Fold/Fold/Fold.

Hes got K-J! With just the river to come! JACK. What a jip!

That's nothing I had AKs and get 1 caller after raising pre-flop. The flop comes down Kxx so I raise and the other guy goes all-in. He has 3To and hits runner runner to make a straight with his 3 :fp:

A couple of hands later I see a cheap flop with QT and the flop is QTx. The same guy goes all-in and I call, he has 45o and gets another runner, runner straight :fp:

It's unreal.

Did anyone else find this weeks HSP boring as?

Yeah it wasn't great. Needs more Durr! I wish Esfandiari would shut up about his seven-deuce game, or the "show your hole cards" thing. Just play poker. I preferred the old group.

Just loading it up now, but from this group I like Antonius, Doctor Esfandiari, Daniel and Lederer. Pretty ambivalent towards Hachem and Laak and I'm not familiar with the rest (poker wise).

I await a PsychicSykes rant on Phil Laak.

Episode was alright. To the people saying it was boring, I felt the first four episodes were boring, with it picking up towards the end because their session was coming to an end.

Right guys. I need a new fishy poker site to stick 50$ on, hopefully with as big a bonus and rake as possible. Any tips?

Rex said something about 50% (!) rakeback at iPoker a while back.

He did, yeah, but from what I remember that was a limited offer...

I'm not sure if they offer rakeback but PKR is about as fishy as they come (at least it was when I played there about a year ago). The whole 3D gimmick attracts people who don't know anything about poker and as the software is so slow people get impatient and play badly. If you're patient it's very easy to win there.
