I'd be in the 17.5 for 4 hours and I get a message saying in 2 hours the servers will be down for WHill. Again no response from the chat operators. Pretty terrible service really.

It's a pity Celeste is no longer your personal WH advisor.

I'd deffo be looking to sell some of my action, for anyone who might be interested. Probably around the 50% marker.

I'm good to buy but I am not taking like £50 from everyone. Just pointing that out in advance.

Anyone consider this? You can stay at ours (in Coventry) and we could provide transport to the venue as well.

For the record I am definitely in but I can only play Day C. I'll be taking the Friday off of work and travelling up to Coventry on Thursday evening. Thankfully I won't need to rush back thanks to it being a bank holiday weekend.

Count me in too for the Friday. Should be a good weekend. :D

Edit: I'd probably sell/trade up to 30% of my action, but we can sort that out closer to the time.

I just sent a complaint email off. Usually they're quite good at repsonding to them. I'd love to go down to the goliath but I don't think the buyin justifys the costs involved.

Let us know how the email goes. I might need to send one. ;)

How far are you? There aren't too many costs. Rake etc are big but we can host a few people at ours for free. It's also fun meeting with everyone. Looking forward to it already.

Rake is annoying but the meet is way more than just playing a tournament. It's awesome meeting everyone and sharing jokes, playing a few games etc. One time we even did a home cash game. If I remember correctly, Aaron called a big 3bet preflop with a standard Aaron hand (6-8 offsuit) and flopped trips on an ace high flop. He got it in with (and stacked) Slayer who had AQ.

It's not just rake though, travel costs, food etc also it's probably not a great time for me to plan something like this as I'm looking for a job at the moment so it be like well I can start then but I have to take Friday off to go play poker.

Aaron also stacked me with a hand. I can't remember what it was but probably something like J2 > KK :x

Don't you eat at home? There's a tesco nearby if you're cheap :D

Can easily make your money back in the cash games. :P

Had another 180-man rebuy min-cash earlier. Typically A-Q < A-J

Its actually my first cash that has been a min-cash, all the rest have been final tables, 1st, 2nd, 4th, 4th, 6th and 7th.

Doesn't look like I'll be able to make this meet - trouble getting the time off work.

Call in sick :shifty:

I've found someone selling a seat for £90 instead of £120 so I'm going to see if I can nab that.
