If I go and sit down at that level with my last $6 until it's all gone, is there a way of posting the entire hand history on here so that you guys can see where I went wrong?

Seriously, how are you supposed to play at this level when people call raises pre with gooseberry fool like 93h? You get about five people in every pot just calling everything. Even if you've got the best hand pre you're unlikely to win by the end.

I wasn't in the hand, I had just sat down and saw people doing it. It seems to have calmed down a bit now.

At that level I would just play really tight and try just play the nuts or there abouts and play A B C poker at that level too I would rarely c-bet unless you hit and I would bet, your big hands because people at that level can't fold when they hit and they sure as hell like to chase draws.

Did it ages ago.

Nova wrote:Are you at a similar roll to me, Drummy? I moved up to $450 ish today after a good evening at the tables. I could have been 20$ further up but my inability to win coinflips saw my QQ lose to AK in an 18-man for the win, basically. Still, happy enough with that start to the year.

I have $664 after starting a year ago with a $50 deposit. I've not ever cashed any of it out, but I just don't play as much as I'd like to. For example:

Code: Select all

Username     Games Played     Av. Profit     Av. Stake     Av. ROI     Total Profit     Form     Ability /100     Network
Proper Zing  252              $2             $4            40%         $438             -        71               PokerStars

One of my targets for this year is to play more but with a full time job and all, it isn't always that easy. :(

There's way too much on in the first six months of this year to miss. Lost, House, Chuck, Breaking Bad... & High Stakes Poker. 8-)

If you're going to play now I'll spec you. I am not, however, The World's Greatest Cash Player™*.

Minor understatement.

Table name is Markab.

Should I have raised then on that river bet when I made the flush? To be honest I think the guy is a total donk, betting with two pair on a board like that, and I was at least expecting him to make the flush, fearing the King or Ace.

I've had AK three times and missed the flop every time. I've bet half the pot each time, been folded to once and been raised up the other two times.

Well it's a mix. Mostly 50s but a few 30s and 100s. Basically open all the lobbies and wait for bad players. If they sit, I sit. I am running like God though seriously so don't make it out like I can make a $10k month etc. It will all go in a downswing soon enough.

Overall though pretty confident in my ability at these. I've played 718 now since December and it's the most fun I've had playing poker for ages. I literally don't get bored of them. Sure at times I go insane and shout a bit but it's so damn satisfying winning a 60/40! Real fistpumps etc.

Obv I may still be running good in terms of cards let alone EV so I am not exactly going insane but it's nice to have a new peak roll and a fair bit of my roll came from MTT wins.
