Do I really need a 1200$ roll to play the 12$ 180-mans? They're pretty soft from what I've heard and I've always done well at the 4.40s.

From what I've read, there's barely a difference, so if you think you can beat the $4.40s then you should be able to beat those.

If your roll is taking a beating then you can always drop down.

Apparently it's possible to go on 100 buy-in downswings and as they are turbos they are definitly higher variance than the 4.40s, but as long as you are willing to move back down if required then you can take a shot with a smaller bankroll.

I'm gonna play a few more of them shortly

They're not all turbos are they? I'm not planning on playing turbos. And only on the weekend, too.

The non-turbos are $11 and take FOREVER to fill up.

Edit: Actually tonight is pub poker but I'm not sure if I'm going, so put me down as a definitely maybe.

Edit2: Ok, we're going to give pub poker a miss until February. So I'll be up for some GR poker tonight 8-)

You should 100 buyin for them. In all fairness everyone here who plays 4.40s has played such a stupidly small sample to assume anything about how soft they are. I've no doubt everyone is massively plus at them but I'd say you're all running good also. You won't be able to sustain anywhere near those winrates. Why don't you run them through HEM?

How big a sample are we looking at for accurate stats? :shifty:

I don't know but 19. 78 and 32 are clearly super small samples. People who take them seriously play over 100 per day.

EDIT: Just flopped quads with 97. Third time I've seen them in as many days.

In for 4.40 and Aaron just came home. Will need staking from anyone stupid enough to part with money. Will also not be giving it like millions of my attention cells since I will be playing HU most likely. So might need TS so someone who is actually good at MTT can tell me what to do, i.e. fold.

I'm not going to be home in time for the start but I'll come on when I can to see how you are all going.
