strawberry float poker. I've played seven HU games today and won two of them. Three times I've ended up all in vs KK with an Ace and every single time the Kings have held. Two times I've been all in with a stronger Ace than them and they've hit their kicker. strawberry float off.

It's just variance mayne, it happens to everyone. Just persevere and things will come good.

I decided to take a look at my $4.40/180 stats yesterday and was pleasantly surprised because I didn't think I'd done that well in them over the last year.

$4.40/180 stats:

Played: 38
Final Tables: 8
Cashed: 11

I looked them up on SharkScope but the maximum history it lets you check is your last 250 games. However, I've played only 256 games and I didn't play them in my first six games, so I was able to manually count everything up. Do you have a tracker? You can check with that, I know Sykes can as he gave me his sick stats last night.

I have HEM but I was using Pokertracker before that and it didn't import tournaments properly so I don't trust any results from before Oct 09 which is when I switched to HEM.

I had a look anyway and it shows 13 final tables and 13 cashes, so it looks like it hasn't recorded any of my cashes from 18th - 10th.

Played: 78
ROI: 173.8%
Profit: $596.40
Final Tables: 13

Fine for me Ecno.

Learning to cope with variance is something that takes time. Today I enter a tournament with a fishbowl. First hand he limps. I raise to 80. He ships for 1500. I call. He has 66 vs my TT. River is a 6. I say meh and hand over my $100. Get him again though since he is obv massive donk. Get him AI on a QJ92 board with 2 clubs. I have KT for the nuts. He calls with T2cc and makes the flush. Meh.

I know in the long run this guy donates to me so I just shrug it off where possible. It's like casinos. They want you to win a little first, then lose a lot. The feeling he must get when he sucks out is probably the reason he comes back. I don't know but I like his money.

Also had 99 vs K4 AI pre for the board to come 28888 in that order. FML.

HEM has me as having played 19, though it may be a couple more.

Played - 19
ROI - 747%
ITM - 26.3%
Winnings $624.88

lol, just had some guy at my table playing every hand and calling every raise. I shove into him with AQs and he calls with 24 and thankfully my hand holds.

I just looked him up on OPR and he is in the bottom 0.61% of players and he has only cashed once (for $6) in 123 games - link

You're still feeling the effects of that 10 cent'er you played a few weeks back getting AA/KK/FH all over the place. :P

I'm down to the final 5 in a $12 180man :D

At one point I got AK, then KK, then AA all one after the other and got action each time

Edit: Finished 4th for $158. Everyone had less than 10BB so it was basically a shove-fest at that point. I ended up getting it in with KQ<66.

I've slowly gone down from $740 to about $680. Might just play a few at a slightly lower level and move back up soon after though.

Decently actually. I think I might change across to those again. I've just gone down since I started playing loads of different games at the same time (i.e: HU, 6-max, 9man, 27-man in the same session), which is silly.

^ Ouch, that's a bad one.

I'm at another $12 180man final table. Down to 7 players now, i'm 4th but basically have the same size stack as 2nd and 3rd places.

Edit: And out in 4th again for $158 after my 77 lost to 66
Edit2: And I also get knocked out of a $20 MTT just after reaching the cash ($38) with QQ<88
