Thanks, I have withdrawn it already so it should be in my bank in a few days :D

The only bad thing about all this is I'm absolutely knackered today. I finished the tournament at about 4:30am and I had to be up at 8am as I had a hospital appointment. So I just didn't bother going to bed as I was worried I'd sleep through my alarm. Then when I get to the hospital this morning they tell me that my appointment was cancelled and moved to January, so I could have gone to bed and had a nice lie-in after all

Nope, English.

I've uploaded the small part of the tournament that I recorded. It starts of 6-handed on the final table and it goes down to 4 players then there is a break and I forgot to unpause Camtasia so it didn't record anything else. The video is just under 30mins long.

Download here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5D4F4YNJ

I made a very bad bluff and lose lots of chips 10 minutes in. :fp:

I don't even know how to play Omaha or any of these crazy versions of poker. I'll take a look at the main event, though.

Can I just ask, what does it mean when you say something like "I only had 10BB and shoved pre with ATs"? I'm guessing ATs is Ace and 10 of spades, but what about 10BB and what does 'shoved pre' mean? Also, when you say you got a set, is that three of a kind?

Won the $5 27 man 8-)

A set is 2 in your hand one on the board people get it confused with trips which is one in your hand and 2 on the board.

10bb is 10 big blinds so if blinds 50/100 he had 1000 chips and he shoved before the flop which is pre-flop.

Hope that helps anymore questions?

The set and trips thing is interesting, I'll remember that. Does to 'shove' mean to go all in? I guess he meant he could have only stayed in for 10 more big blinds (at the current value) so he thought bugger it I've got an ace and a ten suited I'll just try my luck now?

Well done on the $5 tourny, do you get 100% or does 2nd place take a cut?

1st is $50 for the win.

Also its pretty standard when you get to 10bb or below to look to shove and double up but its best to try get it in with a half decent hand, the reason really as as you get below 10bb you could get a good hand like AA but as it becomes less to call for the other players you can't really protect your hand.

Well there's a pair that shouldn't be possible, am I right DML? ;) I imagine that ESPN filmed some of the footage after the event judging by that clip.
