5th tonight with my main rival not turning up tonight for Venue Champ. Only problem is the guy who was third was still in when I left. Made a massive bluff at just the wrong time doing a 'stop and go', Had A-8, called a raise five handed and when it came down J-7-3 pushed all in. He insta called with pocket Jacks for a set.

*sigh*

Anyway, I hope I'm still in the lead. Will be unless that guy comes first.

My roll is sat at a rather pretty $570, been grinding 4 tables at once after a couple of big recent wins.

I self excluded myself. I won't play there anyway but it means I don't have to borrow accounts to play tourneys etc.

Nova what stakes are you playing? Seems like you are doing pretty awesome! You're almost rolled for 20NL.

He got banned for haxxoring other people's screens ala Dala on TS:FP.

I'm still playing 5$ stakes. Just going to play that a little more, until I get over $600, just to be sure I've beaten this level.

Just did this for Nova but figured it might come in handy to someone else, PokerTracker, complete with patch and keygen. Make sure you read the little text document I included otherwise y'risk messing it up.

I guess pokerstars are trying to get back at me for some reason :lol:

Aces cracked twice by underpairs and 9s cracked by 2s and 87 (I river a set to give him a straight).

Unfortunately, all those bets are totally understanable and happen all the time. Standard cooler.

Yeah, exactly. It just played out as expected. I assume he may have hesitated if he knew his 6 pair outs were void, making him 25%. But he probably had me on AT or something.

Well, what beats you? 7s and the 23ss, not a lot, and we can rule him out of the latter, IMO. So if he has the 7s, what hand is he calling the preflop raise with, and the bets after the flop except 77? A7 possibly?

I'd call. If it turns out he does have it you're very unlucky.

I figured I had to call as there was basically only one hand that could beat me and if he had that then surely he would have made a smaller value bet that I'm likely to call instead of just shoving all-in.

I'm still not keen on these cash games, I seem to get really unlucky all the time although I did make a small profit on a couple of other tables so I was still up about $4 overall after this.

I agree.

You're never folding there at this level unless you have a sick read and I'm probably not letting go then either. It's a good board to bluff on as you have to have the Ace-high flush or better to call, although I doubt that came into his thinking. Shrug, top up your stack and concentrate on playing the next hand well.

Playing in a PokerPlayer freeroll to try and get Sunday Million tickets at the moment on Pokerstars.

Grrr.....got Queens dealt against Kings.
