Don't think you get much value from raising the river there Luw. With the stats you've given I'm inclined to tag him as a loose-passive stationy kind of player. He's waited until the river to bother putting money into the pot of his own accord on a drawy board so I think his range is fairly polarised to nutty type hands and bluffs. Rest seems fine though.

I got suckered into a massive rant earlier!

My mates rigged the deck in a mess-around game when I was having a piss. I was dealt pocket kings. Naturally I raised and one person called. The flop came down King-Ace-King. My mate raised the pot, which I called naturally, not believing my luck. The turn was irrelevant, but my mate went all-in, which I called of course. He had pocket Aces and you can guess what the river was - the final ace. I went into something of a rant about my luck, despite the game not meaning anything ( :fp: ). They were crying with laughter!

Ha, nothing like a good windup. I did a similar kind of thing when I was trying to teach my cousin how to play. I rigged the deck to deal him a Royal Flush and then open folded the flop with the excuse that "I'm too thirsty to play this hand, do you want a drink?"

Also Rex, how long till you move your roll to Stars? :P

Pretty much stopped playing both. They've almost halved. The $25 used to be $7500 and the $100 used to be $12,500

Played pub poker again tonight. In the last three pubs I've ended up short stacked and waiting for a good spot to shove and then ran into AA, AA, and today KK :fp:
We played two games though and the second one I did a bit better but the blinds rose too quickly and I ended up on the final table with 4k in chips and blinds of 1k/2k. :fp:
AQ < J4o knocks me out but the J4 was priced in, so it wasn't too annoying.

Just started another cash session and already down $20 at 10nl thanks to a guy who is playing literally every single hand and never folding. I get it in against him with AK v 83 and he flops two pair. Then I get it in against him with ATs v J5o and the flop is JJJ :fp:

Hopefully I can win it back...

Edit: Just searched his username and he's up over $6 million!
It must just be some pro having a laugh as he is playing really bad. Min betting $0.10 into a $5 pot, betting $1.50 to steal $0.10 blind, literrally playing every single hand he hasn't folded pre-flop once since I've been at the table.

Edit2: Oh actually he's not up $6M that was someone else's stats as I wasn't logged into the site :fp: He's actually only been playing for a few days and is down over $100.

Bad luck Ecno, even you can't win them all unfortunately. :P

I got some of my money back from that donk earlier but someone else at the table managed to get most of it from him. Then I realised what the time was and quit so I could play the game down the pub.

I came 2nd out of 26 in the pub game, but was 1st of the 15 people who put £2 into a side pot, so I won £20 from that and the guy in 2nd got the other £10. Got a load of points too so a seat in the monthly final is almost a sure thing now. :D

They have a champion of champions game tomorrow but I'm not eligible for that, hopefully I'll be able to play the next one in six months time...

UL Ecno. Was watching much of the way. :(

I won a $20 FO yesterday, absolutely terrible FT which I expected to win so often lol. 4 handed was so funny with people folding with like 5BB and limping buttons etc.

Other than that though had a reasonably crap day not cashing much at all again. I also spent a bomb in the 6max rebuy because KK < AA, KK < QQ and QQ < JJ all preflopaments. Had such a good table though so I kept rebuying.
