Yeah, but on there he also claims to be scared of his own hands.

For the record, I'm a fan of the Fielding. I think. Series 3 of the Boosh was terrible though.

Series one of MB was funny. The other two were ridiculously laboured, "LOOK HOW ALT WE ARE!!!!1" shite.

The Mighty Boosh has the kind of 'random' humour that people who call themselves 'random' would come up with.

The BBC has announced that Never Mind The Buzzcocks will return this autumn with a brand new lineup.

Mighty Boosh star Noel Fielding joins Phill Jupitus on the show as a team captain, while the series will be presented by guest hosts David Walliams, Alex James, Dermot O'Leary, Jack Whitehall, Rhod Gilbert, Frank Skinner, Mark Watson and James Corden.

"I am so excited about Buzzcocks. I am leaping across the Camden rooftops dressed as a small white kitten," Fielding said.

Executive editor Katie Taylor added: "It's great to welcome so many comics and top musicians, many who have proven themselves as Buzzcocks panellists in the past, to the host hot seat.

"Noel Fielding will bring his eclectic music taste and surrealist humour, while Phill, having been there since day one, now takes the title of the elder statesman of the show."

It was reported earlier that Simon Amstell had decided to move on from his role as presenter on the gameshow.

Never Mind The Buzzcocks returns on Tuesday, September 29 to BBC Two.

No Amstell = EPIC FAIL. :fp:

I hate to put that in such dorky terms, but that's the best way of expressing how I feel.

The new line-up is beyond diabolical.

I might watch the Alex James one as I'm a huge Blur fan but I don't think it will be half as good without Amstell.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

Lamaar and Amstell were both excellent hosts for the show. I don't like the idea of guest hosts as it's a show that relies so much on the host, unlike HIGNFY which only had Angus Deaton originally.
They'd be better off finding one host that is good indtead of relying on a different guest host each week.

God, I really don't like Noel Fielding. Especially whenever he was on Buzzcocks, couldn't bring myself to even force a laugh at anything he said. It was Amstell who called him out on it so brilliantly, along the lines of "You just put two words together that don't make sense and people laugh. Ticklish Frisbee".

Spot on. And I laughed at that, as his delivery was infinitely better than Fielding's.

Yes, I know I made up the Ticklish Frisbee bit, but that is pretty much what Fielding does most of the time. Hell, look at the above story...

"I am so excited about Buzzcocks. I am leaping across the Camden rooftops dressed as a small white kitten," Fielding said.

The strawberry float's that meant to mean? Is it humourous?

I think it's mainly 15 year old girls who like him and as Twilight shows they have no taste whatsoever.

I know some 18 and 19 year old girls that like him, this baffles me. It's a shame as as apart form this I would say they have good taste. Mind you, one likes Twilight (and I mean really likes), so I doubt she's human.

But yeah, 15 year olds especially have no taste. Why can't they go for a proper hearthrob, like Joseph Gordon-Levitt. At least he can act.

I can't stand Noel Fielding in general but I actually thought he put in a good shift when he stood in as captain a while back.

The guest host thing sounds awful though.
