Are they still making this I thought it would end after Amstell quit.

Idiot teenagers. The Boosh frustrates me, I've tried many times to watch it and am actually beginning to enjoy when suddenly it all goes downhill with obscenely gooseberry fool humour. A shame as the cast is great (aside from Fielding) and it really does have potential. But with the news that they may be splitting I can hopefully see Julian Barratt do something brilliant as he's the best thing about it.

Tabloid reports have claimed that Noel Fielding has been axed as a team captain on BBC Two music quiz Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

The Mighty Boosh comic was expected to become a permanent fixture on the series after previously appearing as a guest.

However, the BBC has pulled him off the show following drugs revelations over the weekend, according to The Sun.

Fielding owned up to taking cocaine, ecstasy, acid and magic mushrooms in an interview with the News of the World yesterday.

"Noel is absolutely gutted," said a source. "As soon as news of his drug use broke he was told that he was no longer wanted on Buzzcocks. BBC bosses are very strict when it comes to drug users being on the screen...He's really disappointed because he was looking forward to the gig so much."

Earlier this year, host Simon Amstell confirmed that he would not be returning for another series of Buzzcocks.

Get his funnier Mighty Boosh friend to be the new team captain. Not funnier for being in MB though, that's just awful through and through. What's his name...Julian Barratt.
