Monopoly City Streets - MMO Monopoly!

Building in my home town is fine, but my American streets are taking an age.

I have 43m in the bank and am getting fined 32.6m :evil:

This is unplayable for me now. It takes around 3-4 minutes to sell/build property on any of my roads.

Getting bored. I'm only playing to become number 1 in my home town (currently number 2).

I could litter streets with the best building / return ratio but I'm bored, so I'm sticking huge great expensive buildings with gooseberry fool rates of return on them.

Some banana split attacked me overnight, demolished 3 buildings and put up a factory. Thing is he has streets nowhere near me so why is he doing it?

I'll just royally strawberry float him over now whenever I get a demolition or hazard card.

This pretty much sums it up for me. I've started buying the most expensive stuff even though they give gooseberry fool return. I even gave some money to Noes as I had too much to spend.

I did manage to buy a street simply named "Rog" though 8-)

Anyone want a park?

EDIT: Seems you can't place a bonus building on a street you don't own.

I've been putting down as many of the most expensive buildings down as I can afford. This game is dull. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so incredibly slow.

The tax and lack of variety in how much streets are worth is making it dull. I have no reason now to make streets return their maximum value.

American mid north west or Canada would be a good place to look. Try around rural North Dakota and Minniesota that kind of area.

I got a strawberry floating massive street in Ohio for £5m. Awesome name too - Steamtown Road. Reminds me of BioShock.
