Most of it is location spoilers or hints at certain decisions we'll have to make. This is pretty much all the gameplay related stuff:

- RPG-demand will be satisfied without trimming down shooter focus
- More stuff to buy in shops and more things to do in menus
- A lot more types of enemies and "Reaper zombie" variants, new types of husk will "be to the old (husk) version what 28 Days Later was to Night of the Living Dead."
- Gameplay is positively compared to Gears of War, with emphasis on more fluid and faster combat (Shepard can now perform swat-turns, rolls and mantle over cover without ducking behind it first).
- Also, from the interview posted on the last page, they're working the cover more into the environments so that you won't immediately walk into a room, notice all the chest-high walls and expect a fight. Working on always re-directing the player so you never know what's going to happen e.g Routes being blocked off by a cave-in or blowing out the floor from beneath you.
- Making the game more difficult by making enemies smarter and more tactical. "Normal is the new veteran."
- Location based damage gameplay e.g On the Batarian husk, shooting his hand-cannon will disable his ranged attack and shooting his claw will prevent him from meleeing you. This system will be applied to more than just this type of enemy.

I'm mid-way or three quarters of the way through ME2. I've recruited everyone bar Tali and Legion and have just knocked off that bit where you have to destroy the big robots before they destroy those crates. I noticed that just before I undertook the mission, all the speech and whatnot suddenly started sounding very muffled. This happened on my first run too; sound was fine until a certain point, after which it was very muffled and difficult to hear.

I've just finished ME2, really enjoyed it but doing all the missions becomes a bit of a slog at the end as more and more keep appearing. After 40hrs the gameplay doesn't really change throughout so was glad it wasn't any longer. I didn't think the ending was as epic as ME1 but it sets things up nicely for ME3.

Glad it's been delayed tbh and I kinda expected as much. It wont clash with Skyrim so I'm happy about that.

Was expecting it, exactly the same happened to ME2.

Never mind :-( If that's what it takes, that's what it takes.

Something needed to be delayed anyway.

Wonder if its something they really needed to do, or they just decided to get out of the way of Skyrim.

Is there a thread with all the Q4 release dates ? I'm hoping Tomb Raider is Q1 2012 too.

Anyway Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Batman and Deus Ex are enough.

Possibly Forza 4 :shifty:

I knew this would be delayed. Skyrim will just be dominating my gaming time in November and December. The second half of the year is probably the best there has ever been in terms of quality games for me. -
August
Deus Ex

September
Rage
Gears Of War 3

October
Batman: Arkham City
The Darkness 2

November
Uncharted 3
Skyrim
Battlefield 3
Possible Halo remake

And those are just the ones i'm aware of. No doubt there will be a few surprises, so something had to give.

I was absolutely certain this wouldn't be out less then 2 years after ME2. I'm pleased really, didn't want it this year as Skyrm is enough RPG for me for many moons.
