You're absolutely right. I played a bit more and when I played it a bit like Batman (using invisibility, hiding in the rafters), I enjoyed it a lot more.
Does anyone know if this game has a mission skip option if you fail a few times? I recently started Spider-man 1 but got stuck on the Shocking comeback chase mission and just couldn't be bothered to try get through it. Shame as I enjoyed the game until that point but don't want to buy another Spider-man game if I can't skip missions.

I'm sure Spider-Man 2 has that option, but I can't remember if Miles Morales do have it or not.
Check the settings or pause during the mission to skip?
