Wow guys, they have to add something new to the series. If you just want to play the same old game then just dig it out the cupboard..

I'm looking forward to this, every mario kart brings something different to the table and always provides hours of multiplayer fun

So we're not allowed to not like the direction a game series has taken?

I just watched a developer on this, the changing around of car wheel/frame sounds alright as long as it makes an actual difference.

The flying and submarine gooseberry fool is total bollocks though

It'll be called Peach's Piano or something.

It blatantly belongs to Toadsworth.

Toadsworth <3

Also I'd like to point out there's been plenty of tracks which have nothing to do with anything at all in the past.

Name 1 from MK64 that had nothing to do with the Mario franchise or the Nintendo universe.

Wario Stadium, Kalamari Desert.

Why would Wario own a Stadium and saying the Desert is connected because there's been Deserts in the platformers is just clutching straws.

Frappe Snowland, Sherbert Land. They are only connected by the penguins/snowmen that appear sort of.

Frappe Snowland and Sherbert Land are based off the snow levels in Mario 64. Kalamari Desert had its name changed from Dry Dry Desert in the Japanese version and is based on the Desert levels from Mario 3 and World. Wario rides a motorcross bike so having a stadium makes sense.

Who cares if they're connected to the universe, as long as they're good. It just so happens that in MK64 they are and the tracks are good and in MKWii they're not and the tracks suck.

Mushroom Gorge, DK's Snowboard Cross, Maple Treeway, Toad's Factory and Wario's Gold Mine all say you're wrong. Koopa Cape is good too.

Of course not, just complaining about changes to a game design that is so decrepit and repetitive anyway seems a bit futile and pointless to me.
