Yeah, I'd give Predator a 7 too. It's a great, one dimensional action movie. Nothing more.

Captain America -5/10- Solid comic book movie. Better than Green Lantern.

Captain America- 8/10

Pretty much everything I wanted from a Captain America film. Negatives were the lack of Baron Zemo and Howard Stark's accent which went all over the place. I would have liked a bit more of Cap in the present too, I felt that was a bit rushed.

I dunno, I'm always used to people being snobby over action films. Personally, I love 'em.

Captain America

Watched it today and thought it was pretty good.

Evans does good work as both "the little guy" and "Captain America", and while it should come of as twee or cheesy, generally you want to root for him.

The action/battle scenes are generally well done and quite kinetic. The exception is, unfortunately, the last man on man fight between CA/RS - but it's too guys hitting each other.

It was about 2 hours and moves at a brisk pace, but never really seems to feel rushed. The only bit that didn't really seem to work was

Bucky's death. They did a good job of stressing Bucky's role in Steve's life with the limited time they had, but it never seemed enough - similarily his death was a little quick and the fallout brief. Although it did give Carter/Rogers a nice scene

The worst part is the ending - which feels (and is!) a 2-3 set up for the Avengers. It felt a little out of place with the rest of the film, and jarringly ended/cut to credits. I know they were trying to hype/tease me for the Avengers, but it just made me dislike the end of the CA film.

Captain America - 8/10

Not quite as good as the first two Spider-Man films, or even the first two X-Men, but I think this is probably the best of the batch Marvel have done themselves. It was built up nicely from the perspectives of both the good guys and the bad guys, had decent action and was suprisingly funny too. I didn't like Weaving as the bad guy at all though. Thought his accent was terrible!

Also...

Capitan America

Had very hopes for this after the awesome trailer, came away disappointed though.

Without repeating what everyone else said about, I found it very chessy, and campy in places. The Marvel films are never going to be anyway serious, but there's far too much predictable scenes to sit through.

And yeah the end is basically "Now get ready for the Avengers".

Jonah Hex - 3/10

It just seemed to be a mishmash of dog turd. Neither myself nor my friend could follow what was going on because it wasn't clear what was actually happening. The Big Bad's Big Plan made little if any sense. The only redeeming feature was Megan Fox in a corset.

I'd like to see her naked. I think that'd be nice.
