There's one thing I don't get.

If he could remember the entire book why not hand it over? Its not like Oldman's character could read it anyway.

Would saved himself from all those hassle and he'll probably still alive at the end. Oh hum.

I assume Oldman would, after finding out the book was in braille, force Eli to stay and convert it to text for him. Mibs.

Oldman's character doesn't know that he's blind. His old lady is blind and claims she couldn't remember how to read Braille.

And he could have checked the book before shooting him and leave him for dead at the end.

I'll probably just put it down to Washington's character being a stubborn religious man.

Paranormal Activity 3.

"Well, this is going well. It's still remarkably low key, there's little in the way of outright paranormal..well... activity, and it's making good use of the spooky kids. Granted, the narrative doesn't fit into the overall canon as seamlessly and effectively as PA2 did on first viewing, but overall a good little hor-*The Final 15 Minutes Kick In*-oh that's a shame."

So close.

So close.

Aye but if he gave the book to Oldman, he's open it and be like "WTF BRAILLE?, Oi, Eli, you can understand this gooseberry fool, read it to me or Imma kill you"

World's Greatest Dad 8/10 Up there with the best of Robin Williams more serious roles. He was really great. I've never hated a character as much as I hated his kid. Holy hell, that's some convincing acting. Really wanted to punch him so hard.

And what a soundtrack!

Just watched the trailer which I heard was incredibly misleading. strawberry floatin' hell.   It's promoting a different movie! More trailers should completely strawberry float with the viewers like that.

It really is one of my favourite film soundtracks. Some of the songs still make me sad. :(

The only moment I laughed is when Robin Williams cried in the film. Then I feel bad about it.

Also the banana split kid is the kid from Spy Kids, which makes me hate his character even more.

And I don't need to see Robin Williams's penis at the end.

It's an alright film. I'm not really going to rush out and watch World's Greatest Dad again any time soon. I don't know if I would be able to recommend it to anyone, with an expection to people with a very dark sense of humour.

I sympathise with Robin Williams's character as he tries to do the right thing but it just got snowballed out of his control. Could see the ending coming too.

I expect some sympathy from some of the characters but that girlfriend of his is just a glory hunter. He should have blasted her too.

It's not a comedy. At a push you'd say its a dark comedy but there are very few laughs in it.

From reading your review it seems you hated it because it wasn't what you thought it was gonna be.

10 points for the trailer doing its job, then.

You miss out on a lot from not bring able to hear the soundtrack. Queen and Bowie at the end  The whole soundtrack was incredible.
