Yes! Wayne's World 2 is very underrated.

True that. Wayne > Austin Powers.

Over The Edge - 8/10

Was originally going to give this a 7 but its kept me thinking since i've watched it, hence the bump. Set in the 70s and starring Matt Dillon in his first role, the story is about disaffected youths and how their parents / community / state were ultimately responsible for their disaffection. Its a little dated looking and some of the acting is a bit amateurish but theres a lot of realism in it (its based on true events). The soundtrack is pretty great too!

Pineapple Express - 7.5/10

Much better than I expected it to be, especially James Franco.

The missus has Sex and the City 2 on. -3.5/10

Sarah Jessica Parker looks seriously ropey, the ginger one looks like an old lady and the film probably does the most damage to female equality I have ever seen.

Have you posted about it at all, chap? Interested to read your thoughts on it. Must admit, I felt surprisingly sad at Boltie's death. Didn't think it was quite as good as Slither, but much better than a lot of the reviews made out.

I sat through that turd this morning. Genuinely the worst thing I've seen in years.

I liked it, but left it feeling a bit...down.

My major issue with the film was it's tone. It sometimes felt like it didn't really know what sort of film it wanted to be.

That scene though...that scene was very effective.

I'd say a 7/10. But I thought Kick Ass was better (8/10)

Watched True Grit last night.

Superb. Really enjoyed it.

Bridges was immense and the young girl was pretty damn good, too.

Yeah, it does get very, VERY dark, and the final third of the film is almost entirely without laughs, but I think the shift is deliberate. I guess it works better for some than for others.

And I've still not seen Kick-Ass. Probably should get around to that.

Captain America 8/10 I really liked it, certainly one of the better superhero movies I've seen. Could have done without the last few minutes, though.

Insidious - 8/10 - I didn't find it scary, jumped in a few places (things make me jump easy), but the other half was very scared and thought it was good :)

all in all worth watching

Bunny and the Bull - 8/10

If you can see past the quirkiness I thought it was actually a pretty damn good drama, with some funny moments. The visuals are pretty amazing also.

I enjoyed the shifting tone. Reminded me Todd Solondz's Happiness and I think it manages to walk the line between realism and magic realism better than Kick-Ass.

Pity it didn't do better at the box-office.
