Hell in the Pacific / worst ending ever... I actually thought I had missed something, I really thought it killed the film. If it were not for that I would have really enjoyed this, but no...

One of my favourites easily. I see it has it critics but I loved it. The ending is brutal :(

Another joins The Mist fan club, glad to see you enjoyed it dude :)

Hell yeah I enjoyed it. Really surprised by the ending though, would have thought they would have kept the ending from the book. Seeing as there's hope in that, apposed to the films harsh ending.

The Mist was strawberry floating awesome. The ending was pretty damn shocking mind.

Excellent films, I'll admit to that. Robocop just has that added edge for me.

Total Recall is great, but not Robocop levels of great.

Angels and Demons - 7/10

A lot better than I was expecting, the running about solving puzzles was really Indy'esque and really rather enjoyable. Things did get pretty ludicrous at points, the massive room with 15 minutes of air in it :? and the villain was also distinctly Joker like in his ability to be in about a million places and do hundreds of different things in an impossible time frame.

Overall though it was a lot of fun.

The end of The Mist didn't really sink in for me when I watched it. I think I just couldn't believe how it ended so it didn't fully register.

Great stuff though.

Judge Dredd - **
It's ridiculous, it really is. Yet somehow oddly fun.

Glad you enjoyed it. There is one bit I was never able to figure out.

How the assassin was able to chain the fire cardinal up on his own. Must have been pretty tough getting him suspended up there.

I do like Robocop, don't get me wrong, but I do think that it has some obvious flaws - there's a fair amount of poor acting, some of its special effects don't hold up very well today and it's a bit heavy-handed (though I suppose that's to be expected from Verhoeven).

The best film he's made in America, no doubt. I do quite enjoy Basic Instinct, too.

You should get back in the game Mitch Yost.

Coraline.

Fantastic movie.

Loved every minute of it, visually stunning & amazing voice acting from all involved.

The garden scene with other dad & the final 15mins were just AMAZE in 3D.

Yeah that whole bit was very absurd, and how they fire crew managed to get to the place and put the fire out in a very short space of time.

There will be Blood

2nd time trying to watch it.

I know it's highly rated, but come on, I can't be the only one to find it all so boring and slow

The Escapist. 9.15/10. The ending was a bit obvious, though.

It barely got a chance in the cinema. Opening day, busiest time and there were about 5 people in the cinema (including 2 friends). A week later and it was gone.

Such a shame for such a gem of a film.

I had avoided reading anything about it, so nothing was spoilt. I've since read some beautiful reviews on Lovefilm.

Why an earth did they not make the plot straightforward

Only managed to watch this film for 5 minutes before I had to reach for the remote and switch it off. I really don't have a clue what was going on in it. Just a lot of noise and camera switching.

And the best of the lot:
A typicial Irish film. Complete crap! If you have seen the series prison break then don't bother trying to watch this. Its not even in the same league. The film jumps back and fourth and is hard to follow if you can be bothered that is. Watch prison break again and again any day then watch this poor atempt..
