The ridiculous, over-emotional public hysteria was bad enough ten years ago. I have a horrible feeling it'll be a hundred times worse when Goody dies, not least because she has managed to transcend all previous notions of human dignity and commercialised her own death.

It's very raw at the mo, upsetting and my emotions are all over the place (we had a complex relationship but were friends agin these past few years and i'm very conflicted).

I am finding myself getting angry a lot.. as you can see there :oops:

That just sums up so much that is wrong in our culture.

My dad was one of the guys who created the gardens of remembrance in which he will be spread and which has brought comfort to thousands of those who have lost loved ones. At least he actually did something with his life, something worth doing.. what the hell has that creature done?

It's shocking. I mean, it's awful she has cancer but this is just ridiculous, the fact she's signed away the final moments of her strawberry floating life is just too far, that should be for family, not the general public. The media should be ashamed for even wanting to broadcast this stuff.

It's a kick in the face to every other sufferer of cancer is she can make money off the back of it. She should be ashamed of herself.

Hopefully this will be the final nail in the coffin of reality tv. What was ever wrong with documentaries and the news for your dose of reality? Or maybe, just maybe, your own strawberry floating life. Why mourn for Goody? She represents everything that is wrong about reality tv. She hasn't got any talent, she is really stupid and she is an attention seeker till the final rigor mortis sets in. People die all over the World every day. I won't celebrate when she finally dies, but I won't feel anything else either.

This hateful bitch is televising her own death so she can get the money for her kids. I understand that, but I'm not a goody fan, the bitch is horrendous, a racist and if it were up to her and were given the chance to pass on her cancer to me, she one hundred percent without a doubt would do it.

This will be remembered in years to come as a period when the media teamed up with its willing subject to stoop to new lows in pursuit of profit.
