I take it she tried to exterminate the Jews or something?

Maybe I'm just getting old, but I find some people's attitude here extraordinary.

In my case I utterly hate the false sentiment that the media are trying to generate and the elevation of any absolute waste of space in this way.

I was sick of the silly charade anyway but a personal loss has soured me even more to this, when we all have real painful loss to cope with it's a joke to try to manufacture feelings for someone who matters to nobody but her direct family.

No question that on a personal level cancer and death are very sad ( i don't need to be told that, i've felt it all to directly) but that is where it should stay.. personal. The media circus that elevates this nothing above millions of lovely people who die of this illness personally sickens me. Personally i wouldn't wish death on anyone and said so but i do wish she'd die with some dignity.

I'm getting even older mate, it's not about age.

Fair enough, but then surely that hatred should be directed towards the Media and the masses that lap it up, not the 27 year old girl that is about to die.

Pubic support, more like.

Well certainy Clifford who plays the game so well but the girl knows too well what she's doing, thick or not.

But yes, without the media there would be no attention for her.

I'm with Albear on this. To be honest, while I'm not entirely comfortable with the idea of someone's death being televised like this, it somehow seems oddly fitting for a girl whose recent years have been spent almost constantly in the public eye for one reason or another.

And, y'know, she's only 27. That's too early to go, man. Poor girl. No amount of money she's getting for her sons can make up for the fact that they'll grow up without a mum and she'll never get to see them growing up either. Whatever the circumstances, I think it's pretty horrible to be hurling insults her way as she's shuffling off this mortal coil.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one mate. There is nothing to like about the girl and i've been really angered by this whole carnival she has created around herself.

It does nothing for the millions of normal people who suffer and die.

Don;t want insults? don't make a joke out of yourself and throw yourself down our bloody throats. I can't walk into a shop without seeing her face and some twee quote about it.

And when have i ever said i don't feel sorry for her kids.. my own wife had it and i had to seriously consider raising my son alone .. i'm not that callous.

I'm sure she does. Yet I personally don't see that enough of a reason to be so vindictive about the girl.

If my dad (or myself for that matter), had only one option, so as to make enough money to help/ensure my kids were going to be OK before I died, then I would do everything in my power to do that, and I think most fathers/mothers would be the same. Courting publicity really would be one of the milder possibilities.

In my current mindset, saw raw with pain, i've been pretty bloody kind about her. Lucky i didn't say some of what's going through my head.

i suspect some of my inner anger is being directed her as a figurehead that represents the appaling behaviour of our media and their ability cheapen seriously horrible situations that normal people go through every day.

It just feels like normal lives like my dads are worth strawberry float all and we're supposed to worship who they tell us to.

Sorry that i can't be nice about her.

I think it has helped, (maybe even millions of young girls), as it's certainly raised awareness of the condition. But even if it didn't I don't see what bearing that has on the situation or how that's a factor for peoples hatred.

I also don't see how making a joke out of yourself, or courting publicity merits the vitreol directed towards her.

Like I said earlier, I would do anything for my children. Most parents would given the opportunity.

BTW I should mention my original post wasn't directed at yourself, and I'm genuinly sorry to hear about your loss. I think if I had just lost someone close to me, then I too would feel some animosity at the media circus and attention directed towards Jade.

I would do all I can for my son and i , of course, do but i must admit that would be way too far for me, it's not who i am and i'd use my my own skills and talents and the things i already have in place through hard work to provide for him

Thank you. I think that's it really. My general disgust at the circus has turned to anger at the girl because of what's just happened to me. Emotions can give you very strong opinions

What I want to know is, when is KKLEIN going to admit to making up the whole "Televised death" part?

Ok, then where did you read that her death would be shown on Living TV?

You're opening post is ambigous, and not one other news outlet I can find appears to be reporting it, which is surprising is all.

Funnily enough Max Clifford said last month that Jade Goody's final days, including her death, would A) not be aired on television & B) that Goody would not be in the public spotlight or the media. What a load of rubbish that's turned out to be.

Piers Morgan was scheduled to do an interview with her for ITV1 (to be broadcast in two weeks), but I believe that's been scrapped.

I was told by someone yesterday that's it's a very strong possibility. I'm willing to take his word for it.

If not a rolling minute by minute video, you'll certainly see her dead. I guarantee you that much.
