To be honest, while I'm not entirely comfortable with the idea of someone's death being televised like this, it somehow seems oddly fitting for a girl whose recent years have been spent almost constantly in the public eye for one reason or another.
And, y'know, she's only 27. That's too early to go, man. Poor girl. No amount of money she's getting for her sons can make up for the fact that they'll grow up without a mum and she'll never get to see them growing up either. Whatever the circumstances, I think it's pretty horrible to be hurling insults her way as she's shuffling off this mortal coil.
We'll have to agree to disagree on this one mate. There is nothing to like about the girl and i've been really angered by this whole carnival she has created around herself.
It does nothing for the millions of normal people who suffer and die.
Don;t want insults? don't make a joke out of yourself and throw yourself down our bloody throats. I can't walk into a shop without seeing her face and some twee quote about it.
And when have i ever said i don't feel sorry for her kids.. my own wife had it and i had to seriously consider raising my son alone .. i'm not that callous.
I think it has helped, (maybe even millions of young girls), as it's certainly raised awareness of the condition. But even if it didn't I don't see what bearing that has on the situation or how that's a factor for peoples hatred.
I also don't see how making a joke out of yourself, or courting publicity merits the vitreol directed towards her.
Like I said earlier, I would do anything for my children. Most parents would given the opportunity.
BTW I should mention my original post wasn't directed at yourself, and I'm genuinly sorry to hear about your loss. I think if I had just lost someone close to me, then I too would feel some animosity at the media circus and attention directed towards Jade.
