It's probably the right thing to do.

Camp with me, we can do what we did last time and pretend we know each other from real life, then have a box social.

Metallica are still being rumoured to be doing a Friday night gig at sonisphere by the way. I think I would cry tears of joy if that were announced.

If metallica were announced, and they got the other big rumoured band(megadeth) in, I don't think there would be anything that could keep me from sonisphere this year.

Have you heard the electric guitar version of that song?

Its strawberry floating amazing. But then the version on Dance of Death was amazing anyway. Needless to say, I hope Maiden do another acoustic song on the new album.

Just had a listen. Amazing.

Yeah, would love to see another acoustic song, there's far too few of them.

Also:

ultimateguitar.com wrote: On January 1, Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain told Eddie Trunk — co-host of the VH1 Classic television program "That Metal Show" who has a long-running radio show, "Friday Night Rocks", on New York's Q104.3 FM — that the band will enter the studio in a couple weeks to start work on a new CD. According to Trunk, Nicko "said there was about eight songs written so far so the band would probably need to come up with a few more new songs while recording. [He added that] the material was a little different than past albums and they were taking their time with the recording schedule." McBrain also stated that the "new CD probably won't come out until 2011," according to Trunk.

Iron Maiden guitarist Janick Gers revealed to BBC News in November that the band was on its way "to Paris for three weeks to work on some new stuff." He added, "The most important thing for a band is to create new music, otherwise you're not valid — you become a parody."

Iron Maiden will headline this year's edition of the UK's Sonisphere festival, which will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 and Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Knebworth.

Maiden became the first outfit in history to travel round the world in a customized jet during their "Somewhere Back In Time" tour, as detailed in award-winning movie "Flight 666".

The orchestral version of Dance of Death is so much win.

Edit also:

This may not be ideal timing with all the snow recently making it tough to train but it will be a busy Maiden year after this with a new album later this year and some big shows in the summer.

IRON MAIDEN Completes Recording New Album
blabbermouth.net wrote:British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN have completed the recording process for their new album at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas with producer Kevin Shirley. According to a posting on Kevin's official web site, "There's still work to do, but the band portion is complete and in the can, so to speak."

Shirley previously worked on the last three MAIDEN albums — 2000's "Brave New World", 2003's "Dance of Death" and 2006's "A Matter of Life and Death".

The next IRON MAIDEN album will be the band's fifteenth studio record, and they face a challenge to follow up "A Matter of Life and Death", which was received well critically and saw the group play the whole album on tour.

Speaking at last year's premiere of the band's documentary film "Iron Maiden: Flight 666", guitarist Adrian Smith stated, "There's always a bit of pressure to follow up the last album. In a way, it's good, because it motivates you.

"We never get complacent; we always try our best for our own sake as much as anything else. As far as pressure for another album, we just do what we do — we've been doing it long enough now; we know what we're doing. [laughs]"
