I think the mac is the bigger waste of money, I can't believe he bought it, he's just bought a viao, you don't need both, sell the viao or cancel the mac.

Is it still gathering dust from neglect since launch?

Perhaps if you hadn't just dropped 1.5k on a vaio it'd be a feasable idea.

Thing is, the PS3 has never had any games I want to play. I spend hours each day working and strawberry floating around on computers so a computer will always provide value for money whereas the PS3 has been easily the worst purchase I ever made.

Are you going to work on both laptops at once? Maybe you can use the viao as a coaster while you surf the net on your mac.

As I said earlier, want to learn to use Mac's as there's a good chance at some point in the near future I might have a few at work.

I'm sure it will be a good purchase! Just have to wait until 17th-18th to get my mucky paws on it.... :fp:

Cancel it! Go pick one up in store! You go to London regularly don't you? Go to the Apple store on Regent Street.

Steve, it's people like you keeping our economy going. I admire you. You should take a look at the Macbook Air. They're marvellous. I don't think the price is justified but if I was rich, I'd not hesitate to buy it.

That's true, why didn't you get a Macbook Air?! Cancel and order one of those, that's a really nice laptop, if you're going to waste money, waste it on something cool.

It's a bit lacking in ports & storage space. I'm happy with the MacBook. If I get on with it can always look to "upgrade" next year or whatever. Don't Apple refresh their range once a year?

Steve, can you go into cahoots with AndlyXL and purchase a Veyron between the two of you? A forum road-test is needed. Cheers a lot. 8-)

I'd like to order the new Ferrari California and I'd genuinely take it over the Veyron. The Veyron is an awesome car, but I wouldn't really want to own one.

I'm not converting as such, I just want to broaden my mind a little. I think at least 90% of my time will be spent on Windows machines but I'm looking forward to learning all about Mac's

Sure, as long as you give me back £7500 within 10 days or suffer the consequences.

What if I gave you a shiny new computer product for the £5000?
