I've used an Apple Mini iPad tablet for around eight years and I love it. Unfortunately time has worn down it's performance and the battery has totally gone now.
A pal has - very kindly! - given me a new Android tablet; it's a Xiaomi Pad Pro 6. A few hours in and I'm getting used to it... yeah, it's *okay*. It does the essentials and so that's great.
Man, it feels so clunky compared to an iPad, though
. Some of my main bugbears are:
> Super tech for the price but it feels a bit cheap
> The touchscreen is imprecise. Editing text is "doing my head in"
> The default wallpaper is dark and the app icon title text is black. Ridiculous... you can't see it!
> My eight-year old iPad performs a bit better than this more recent tablet
But, hey, Apple stuff is stupidly expensive and I am lucky enough to have been given this new tablet so I will stick with it and be grateful for it
.
