Should have had this out when the backlash first begun, what a way to ruin a highly popular online game :fp:

The backlash only began on Friday, didn’t it? This has been a remarkably quick turnaround.

I'm feeling a little burned out with this. I feel some of the guns just need a tiny little boost and it would make it much more fun as the premise is literally just mayhem and blowing things up

Yeah the vibe of the subreddit and discord is that Arrowhead have gone a bit too far with all the recent nerfs - hell the weapons in this latest warbond are all very underwhelming.

Even the CEO has said they've gone too far with the nerfs. This is a PvE game that's meant to be a bit of fun, primary weapons all feeling useless is very unsatisfying. I miss the pre-nerf slugger.

Their approach to nerfing is all wrong too. The original railgun felt great and was effective so everyone used it. The balance team see that everyone is using it and nerfs it into the ground to stop everyone using it, completely ignoring the fact that the reason everyone was using it was because it's the only weapon that could deal with armour effectively and there were armoured enemies everywhere.

It is a bit all over the place. It’s weird be because some guns have remained amazing, like the breaker incendiary. But some strategems have been made useless, quasar, rail gun. Now I like I’ve gone to the EAT of spear (fun), the nerfs are silly. It’s PvE, it should be fun. But they need a way to persuade you to try diff weapons. I’ve had a lot of fun last few days on level 8 with full squad.

Dailies can be a good way of trying different weapons. They could do with having more "free" strategem days, maybe people could spend their (useless) requisition points on a community goal that gives you free strategems for a few days etc.

I've really been enjoying the blitzer against the bugs. Never have to worry about stalkers because it stuns them and never runs out of ammo, and it kills medium enemies really efficiently.

I use the plasma punisher against the bots as well since it stuns devastators and is perfect for small groups of troops and walkers.

Definitely the best warbond after the launch one :D stun grenade is in there too

I think it'd be cool to have locations on maps you could put requisition points into to get rewards etc, kind of like the friendship bunkers

This is amazing

I never thought of this, but I have to imagine kids have been drawn to it. I suppose as far as PEGI 18s go, the comedic tone probably helps soften it a lot.

I could still imagine being terrified of bile titans and the like as a child :simper:
