I'm intending to enter both the review and article competitions. Bear with me!

You might want to start a thread about this in Off Topic if you haven't done so already (I haven't seen one) as I very rarely go in GGC and only happened to stumble across this by chance. I don't think I'd be the only person to whom that applied, either.

I should have something written by monday. Just deciding whether or not to write a review for a great game or a shitty one.

I don't understand why I was disqualified...

People need to be able to think that they can win otherwise they won't enter. Up against what you wrote nobody on this forum stands a chance.

*UPDATE - PRIZES TO BE WON!*

In a shocking unexpected move, GR LEGEND and previous GRWC entrant and winner Hero of Canton has kindly offered several prizes to be won for the winner and maybe even the runners-up to this competition, prizes which will possibly include promo copies of Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo DS games and "a few pieces of gaming merchandise too" whatever that might be!

Not only that, if your entry is of a high enough standard he'll be happy to offer the winner a slot writing for Press Start Online!

In light of this fantastic news, I'll be extending the deadline for entries by one week. Now there is absolutely no excuse to not enter this amazing competition!

It's just like old times! With AI! Absolute treat. Won't be entering because at the moment I have neither the time, patience, or access to a games console to produce a worthwhile piece, but shall be checking out everyone's articles when the urge to procrastinate becomes too strong to resist.

If this is popular I'd be up for bringing back the good old GR Creative Writing Competitions that were so ill-fated in the past. Possibly the fan-fic one?

Good effort on reviving RR AI!

I'd love to see one for fiction, maybe a category for Fan Fiction and one for just made up bollocks.

) I'm going to put a day aside towards the end of this stage so I don't have re-read something if it's edited.

And for reference you should ALL re-read the edited entries

I've had a request if I can keep the entry period open until 5pm Friday as someone is still finishing their entry. I have extended it to 6pm Friday. This will be the final extension on the entry period. Please do not ask for any more time!!

If you were planning on writing something, now's the time to do it!!

Also, if you wish to put any final touches to your entries or edit them in any way, you have till the new deadline to do it. After that they are locked for editing and voting will be made based on the final edit.

I'm still due another entry before 6pm. I'm off out in a moment, so I won't be able to post it up till later.
