One of my friends started calling me Murphy in real life because of that bit. :|

For the record, my name is neither Murphy, nor Mario.

I tried to make 45x45 avatars of Hooktail and Cortez but they didn't come out too well.

I suppose I could try to do a series of sigs where every boss is blacked out and you replace them with the normal image when you beat them, something like that.

Finished Chapter 1 last night. Hooktail was easier than I remembered if I'm honest. Is anyone else going for the complete Tattle log?

You noes it. It's almost like completing a Pokedex. :o

I never actually used it before my last play, in which I ended up on something like 100/124.

Ugh. The tattle log. Doesn't it mean you have to use the Goomba in all boss fights or you end up stuck trying to complete the list? I never have a 'spare' turn against bosses to pull off the tattle, I'm always cutting it too fine.

Boss sigs would be brilliant.

I'm also going for the full Tattle log.

Handy hint: If you miss the chance to tattle a one time enemy, like a boss, then go to the Profs house in Rogueport and look in his bin. You'll get the tattle entry for who you missed.

This won't work for standard run-of-the-mill enemies.

I love the little things that go on in the background during a conversation! And squishing Zess T's contact lens is lol

EDIT: I can see interest in this is monumental right now. Anyway, finished Chapter One and did the first little bit of Chapter Two (up to the tree). Loving it so far! Such a charming game. The dialogue...

Did it come yet Banjo? How's everyone progressing? Has nood even started yet? Did Parksey halt his revision?

This isn't what I pay my TV Licence for.

I'm still only about four minutes into the game, I saved it immediately after meeting Goombella and haven't yet gone back to it. :fp:

I was of playing it tonight while waiting for The Office to come out/download but I've done something to my wrist. :(

Dunno, haven't been home in two days (some epic drinking sessions have kept me away). I doubt it'd be there seeing as it was being shipped from Canada, I'll make sure to check tomorrow. I imagine it'll be here by Monday though.

THIS JUST IN:

I can't really afford to halt my revision, as I'm lagging a little already with only six days to go until my first exam. I was going to go and get my Wii and Paper Mario on Saturday when I headed home for a birthday, but I've cancelled that trip altogether now and am currently knee-deep in Richard II instead. Pity me.

However, my exams end two weeks on Friday, so I'll try and get the game as quickly as possible after then. You'll all just be going through Chapter 3 anyway, which isn't too far ahead (though that is quite a long chapter, if I remember rightly). To be honest, I'm not going to rush my playthrough - as I want to savour it again - but I'll probably catch up to you if I play it fairly regularly.

EDIT - Gah, now I'm changing my mind again and thinking of going home...

:shifty:

I will tomorrow. Probably.

Before that though, I've got an essay to finish that needs handing in tomorrow, and then I'm going to finish off the original Papes. I'm up to Bowser's castle, so there's not long left now. It'll be nice to move straight on to TTYD afterwards. 8-)
