How many nominations will we be allocated?

Either 5 or 10, what do you think?
Decades will have a top 5 rather then one film from every decade

I think five is good, many people might have a hard time naming five films from the 30s/40s. Top five for results is good too, tying in nicely with the number of nominations.

Can't believe The Shining won S as much as I love the film I think Shawshank is a classic

Well this doesn't have a Hitchcock or Scorsese film in, so at least a Kubrick film made it. Although 2001 could also make it.

I'm nominating Vertigo in the next round. There is still hope.

10. If people can't think of more then they don't use up the spaces but others might be able to/want to. Simple.

No They Live! under T.
Difficult group. Spinal Tap probably deserves it the most.
For the decades one, why not have 3 vote's for 30's, 4 for 40's, 5 for 50's etc. It would be a strange and interesting new voting method.

It's interesting but I wouldn't like that. There are far too many classics in those decades to give them such a limited amount of choices. I think their should be ten from each decade, give broader scope for some lesser known titles to be in with a chance.

I agree, I just wanted to paraphrase Little Shop of Horrors to make up for me not nominating it under L.

I think I like the idea up to 10 nominations, these topics will be open a lot longer so will give people a chance to think about their films.
Also i'll have people add the year of release behind their choices

Um, Xmen...
XXX (oh god no! There must be more)
...
Xanadu?
I'm stumped.
I have my 3 for Y though - they actually all begin with the same
word, never mind the same letter!

X-Men 2 is better than X-Men, I'm proving my insane point wrong a little bit at a time.
