T is such a frustrating letter. There must be 15-20 films which I could've nominated. No clear winner either, although The Thing is garnering a lot of votes at the moment.

So then.
Terminator 2 better than Terminator and Scarface better than Starshoop Troopers.
Discuss.

Wrongo on both counts as far as I'm concerned.

If you're talking about the original, then yes. The Brian De Palma one is a travesty, I can't watch it anymore. And I used to like it, which is the most shameful part.

I will do a Terminator 1 vs Terminator 2 Faceoff:
Science Fictionyness - Terminator wins
Comedy - Terminator 2 wins
Action - Terminator 2 wins
Suspense - Terminator wins
Quotability - Terminator 2 wins
Storyline - Terminator wins
Cinematic Influence - Terminator wins
Seems it's a win for Terminator, just.

That's a fair depiction. They really are different films.

From what I remember I liked the first Terminator the most. But I really need to see them both again.

Also the lack of anyone else nominating The Truman Show is upsetting.

He's right though, Truman Show is a classic, far superior to Shawshank. Even though I didn;t vote for Truman Show, I still think it's superb.

I agree about it being a classic, in fact it's quite underrated. It's pretty much the only Jim Carrey film I like.

Another 'yay!' for The Truman Show here, I love that film.
