For 'Slide', does sliding down a mountain count?

I didn't mean business in the work related sense, rather the mountain affair (potential to be misinterpreted again :lol:

). And it was my only day off from Uni (well, during the week, they're kind enough to give me the weekends too).

Edit: Another question. For the Library task, can it be my Uni library? Some of my friends don't ever bother using the place for books...just the computers, I have to because I can't afford to buy all the texts I need. I got two out on Friday for a seminar tomorrow.

I technically left my house at 19:45 last night and did not return until approxiamtely 09:35 this morning, doe sthis count as my day away?

Naturally, I will do it again for bonus points, but it'd be nice to know that I have a reserve just in case I cannot accomplish the Task to its full requirements.

I'm afraid I cannot count that. The Task specifices that you must have a 'Day Away', not a 'Night Away'.

Yes, a Uni Library is acceptable. It can be any library as long as it's a library.

The Day Away seems to be a Task GET!, as long as it was purely recreational as you state. I would however like a more comprehensive report on what you did during those 14 hours for me to officially pass you on that task.

Only got three done yesterday, updates incoming when I get back from footy.

Because ive been playing halo most of the week end, ive missed my window of opportunity to do the away day, slide, library, and probably the gambling tasks. :lol:

A Day Away/The Mirror/You Bet
The first thing I did was go into town to place a bet on the derby. Task GET!?

I then went to the pub to watch the game.

Back off into town again to collect my winnings, get lunch, and do some Halloween shopping.
In Forbidden Planet, where my mate bought some comics.

This was where we were going to eat, but they had no free green tea and we didn't have time to sit in and eat, so we got a burger.

This was a shot when I was in the queue for Smiffy's. It encapsulates my boredom sufficiently.

I fell over a bollard on my way to my mate's house, but the photo of it didn't come out well.

My girlfriend met us at my mate's house, and we went out for dinner.

A picture of my winnings (not the actual money I was handed by the Ladbrokes man as I had to spend it on stuff in town and was too rushed to sit down and take the picture, but it's representative of the exact amount I won).
