I'm inclined to say no. That would be too easy, right? Maybe adapt the crest slightly to make it more personal to you? That would be acceptable. As this crest is supposed to push your individual inspirations/interests.

The NEW Kendall Family Crest

Incorporates all that is good about the name Kendal(l) - Howard Kendall, Felicity Kendal, Kendal Mint Cake and someone called Kendall Brooke who you definitely shouldn't Google.
