Are sequels allowed for the six degrees thing, or is that against the spirit of the task?

Sequels are fine as long as an actor from a previous film in the chain isn't in it.

Screencap is fine.

Can you elaborate a bit about your trip and Epping Forest itself?

Epping Forest is an area of ancient parkland in south-east England, straddling the border between north-east Greater London and Essex. It is a former royal forest, and is managed by the City of London Corporation.

It covers 2,450 hectares (6,100 acres)[1][2]and contains areas of woodland, grassland, heath, rivers, bogs and ponds. Stretching between Forest Gate in the south and Epping in the north, Epping Forest is approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) long in the north-south direction, but no more than 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from east to west at its widest point, and in most places considerably narrower. The forest lies on a ridge between the valleys of the rivers Lea and Roding; its elevation and thin gravelly soil (the result of glaciation) historically made it unsuitable for agriculture.[citation needed] Embankments of two Iron Age camps - Loughton Camp and Ambresbury Banks - can be found hidden in the woodland. It gives its name to the Epping Forest local government district which covers part of it.

I went past a few of the ponds and to this too:
The forest has criminal associations. The highwayman Dick Turpin had a hideout there. The tree cover and the forest's location close to London have made it notorious as a burial area for murder victims.

Right, so as an example I couldn't go Mark Hammill->Star Wars->Harrison Ford->The Empire Strikes Back to get two links, as Mark Hammill was in TESB as well. Correct?

Been working on the 6 degrees, man that is the tough one, I am going to question the difficulty, as last week it was the medium one that gave me the most trouble as well.

Also update the table :shifty:

I suppose it's more difficult in terms of the time it takes to do all 6, but remember, the task itself is just to watch 3 films. Anything above that is for the hardcore tasker willing to go that extra mile for precious bonus points.

Ah yes, the table, I will update that this evening.

Watched Wedding Crashers(Isla Fisher), then Definitely Maybe(Isla Fisher - Ryan Reynolds), then Just Friends(Ryan Reynolds). Not in a oner, but one after the other, if you know what I mean. Task get?

I shall be attempting:

The Guru

1 5-minute meditation session completed

3 Degrees of Kevin Bacon (or another actor)

Kevin Bacon - Hollow Man --> Josh Brolin - No country for old men --> Tommy Lee Jones - US Marshalls

Creative Writing

I think I'll write a short story, It'll probably be awful though.

That only works if you name an actor in the first film who isn't Isla Fisher that began the chain. So name one and you will validate the Task.

Also, what did you think of the films?

I will allow this extension since you put in a formal request. Don't let me down.

Bah, was enjoying No country for old men via Megavideo but it says I've watched too much and have to wait 54 minutes to carry on watching.

You seem stressed. Perhaps use these 54 minutes to meditate and continue your Guru task?
