Part of a branch pulled off. Eyes are made of ping pong balls. I was surprised back then that I found it hard to find "classic" materials to make a snowman coal, carrot etc.

True, but if you build a snowman big enough then a normal hat won't fit. So I don't mind one without.

LewisD must still be in that football field. Blimey. It's probably 30ft tall by now.

Real snowmen are large balls of snow rolled up and plonked on top of one another, not those stalagmites.

Behold! (Dad wouldn't let us use the school field because he didn't want the kids going back to a "slushy brown shite pit" - as he called it :( )

The keen-eyed amongst you will spot the fence panel held up by a shovel, that's my bit of DIY to fix the fence from the snowfall, that is  ;)

What do I win then? :D

Yeah I know... but my 11 year old brother wanted to do it his way and he's 11 so I didn't argue. :P

The middle one looks a bit chavvy, too.

During the last major snowfall here our neighbours made a massive snowman, 10ft tall with planks for arms and a big bucket on its head.
