Following this thread isn't as much fun unless I'm following a player. Someone nominate a player for me to 'adopt' so I can follow in their highs and lows.

SPINDASH HAILS DEADLY GMGRcade boss Spindash paid tribute to striker GM after his second-half hat-trick blew away Burnley and clinched his side's first win of the season.
"His finishing today was magnificent," said Spindash. "When he's in that sort of form, he'll trouble any defence in the league. We started off well with Mr Plough grabbing an excellent goal, but we lost our way towards the end of the first half. Alex Harman came off the bench and made a real impact after the break. In the end it was comprehensive and we'll look to build on this against Cardiff in mid-week."
25/8 - Alex Harman and GM are named in the Premier League team of the week.

Phoenix Tennant played a crazy backpass that didn't reach the keeper
Thompson hit a fierce shot
St Nick tipped the ball over the bar!
Jesus Christ. Thanks for that, Tommy.
I got an assist.

I'm impressed at how similar it is to my FIFA playing style. Messing up at the back, injurying players, and bombing forward all the time.

A fantastic win. My guy doesn't seem to get too many mentions but he sure pings the ball around the park. Crunching tackles too!
