19" LG monitor/tv for games, 12" laptop, Xbox, Wii and DVD player. Suits me fine.

If that was mine I'd be forever kicking that unit under the desk and injuring myself badly.

I'd love to buy something with this sort of functionality but it always baffles me why accessory manufacturers make everything look so god damn tacky. What's wrong with just a little LED to show it's working and keeping the rest nice and modest?

well i guess you could always use one of those USB/Main plug adapters but yep it charges through the usb port which i dont mean keeps my spare joypad neatly charging up :)

lol you know i dont think painting it would stop it sounding like it was about to take off when its only just been turned on. I have one of the early models of the 360 so it has the old chipset in it, which as far as i am aware gets hot quite easily

Been meaning to post my setup for a while but my rooms been uncleaned for several weeks, just had a nice polish and everything looks rather nice now so here is my gubbins.

Image

The shelf for my games, books, dvds and plushies. The top shelf is junk that hasn't been sorted from when I usurped this room from my brother so you can ignore that. Middle shelf we have (left to right) my cash box, DS games, PS3 Games, Bee Mario, The Wire S1-5, House S1-4, Wii games, a selection of my GC games, Link, complete Love Hina manga, Complete set of the major LOTR books, Harry Potter 1-7, Mickey Mouse and Ancient Greek/Latin text books.
Lower shelf Sir Thomas of Nook, some pens, most of my dvd (films), DS in the case, some books, Donkey Kong (my first and still favorite plushie) then some uni books and files.

Image

Where I do some of my gaming, (360 is brothers so that's in his room), this gooseberry fool tv I was a present on my 18th and is soon to be replaced by a glorious 22" Samsung when I find one for a nice price. PS3 and Wii with the Wii docking station and Wii Speak. The Miyamoto thing I made a few weeks ago.

Image

And Finally the desk that rarely if ever gets used, except for dumping stuff on, it only looks like this because I've just cleaned. As you can see it holds the laptop I'm typing this on, this months EDGE, iPod cable, controllers, my glasses and the book I'm currently reading.

All the shelves, and desks and stuff are all really old and tatty, my mum offered to buy me knew stuff for Christmas but because I'm getting older I didn't really see the point, I wouldn't mind a nice chair though. So that's my crib, nowhere near as flashy or Hi-Tech as many of your lovely setups, of which I am extremely jealous, but it does me fine while I'm living at home. As I say I'll be getting a 22" HDTV soon so that will spruce me up a bit, but any real ambitious projects will have to wait till I get a place of my own, though the temptation to splurge with a new job on the way may overpower me :)
