I didn't even notice that, I was paying more attention to the film I was watching :shifty:

I too would like to know this.

It is I!

I thought you were a bit of a sensation, well played! Will you be returning for any of the other events?

Thanks! Yeah I'd love too, how often do they go on?

Did you not think the hand where you ended up just with a straight draw against me was a big hand? :P

It's on the last page. :P

Like I said though, I had too few chips, a good flush draw, open ended straight draw and the overpair. I felt like you probably had AA or KK when you led out but I didn't consider the possibility of you having my flush draw counterfeited. Let's just call it payback for the AK < AJ HU. ;)

Indeed. To be fair, no way were you getting away from that hand!

Awesome. I came close to winning one last year so it's nice to win one this time around, if somewhat unexpected. If you'd have asked me before the series which bracelet I thought I had the best chance of winning, this would've come bottom of the list as I don't have much experience in some of the games.

Tell us about your run to the win through the tournament...
Going into the final six I had an above average stack, I tried to keep quiet in my weaker games and managed to find some success in the 2-7 & Omaha/Stud Hi/Lo levels. Once we got four handed I upped the aggression and most of the time this worked. In the later stages I ran fairly well in terms of making hands but I felt I played a good game. To reiterate, towards the end once we got down to the final four, I gradually started to unload and upped my aggression in the Stud and Omaha levels which I found great success in. I mean the aggression levels just went through the roof. I really upped them. The aggression levels went up. Up through the Stud and Omaha. Aggressive Ol' Me. Those two games were pretty key.....and aggression.

You are at the top with Luwinski in the Player of the Year stakes, how confident are you that you could take the title from Sykes?
There is still a long way to go but I'm in with a good chance, probably more so now that what I would consider my weakest event is out of the way, so anything is possible.

Stud is next on the agenda....confident?
I came third last year so I'm obviously hoping to improve on that. I'm certainly looking forward to it as for me it's one of the more interesting mix games.

I'll give this a go. Just played it for 10 mins on the free tables so I at least have an idea of the format.

You definitely need some run good in that. Bloody awful if you don't.

Worst was when Sykes took me out, and initially I thought I'd survived.

:x
