Though having a bit of a dance with an entire field of people during Madness and the Specials is up there.

Might write a bit more once I am feeling more alive. I need another shower now...

I went.

My first Glastonbury.

A-fucking-mazing. Too many highlights to really mention, but... I'll try. the reformed Blur rocked it (so much better than the Blur I saw at Reading '03), Neil Young was out of this world, Springsteen was a real show stealer (both got the crowd so into the music that it was impossible not be entranced), Spinal Tap had midgets, Easy Star All-Stars played Dub Side of the Moon, OK Computer and Sgt Pepper's in three days (I only caught the last one), country is back - hey there Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, The Specials were brilliant, Kasabian did a fantastic set, Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip set the Queen's Head a bouncing, Dizee Rascal managed to be enjoyable. To add to this I was hanging out with a brilliant set of people and I got to do a whole range of things I had never done at a Festival before. Saw Springsteen appear with Gaslight Anthem and the singer return the favour - it was brilliant, Brian Fallon clearly couldn't believe his luck - he looked absolutely overjoyed, it was really great to see. All things considered, its a lot, but it is money very well spent! :D

My pictures were particularly wank due to me a) being terrible a photography, b) Drinking copious amounts of cider c) having a rather old battered Camera (think this was its 4th Glastonbury)

However I did come across this site with some AMAZING photos, this I think is just stunning:

That photo is amazing! It looks like a medieval city or something out of the Chronicles of Narnia.

I'm 100% going next year.

Yep, I'm going too. Rather embarrasingly, my Dad has been for the last 6 years in a row (except when they cancelled it that one time) but I've never been. It's the 40th anniversary next year so I'm definately going.
