I didn't pay off my ticket, effectively cancelling it, and I don't regret it. There are maybe half a dozen bands I'd pay to see in that lot, certainly not worthy £200.

Couple of bands I would like to have seen, but definitely glad I chose Leeds instead.

My registration got accepted in about 24 hours, it's really not a big deal. I just scanned in a passport photo.

So many bands, so many clashes :(
Also one of my friends said they have confirmed that the England game will be shown on the Pyramid stage on Wednesday.
However not sure about the second round game :|

Bit miffed Chemical Brothers aren't playing despite doing other festivals this summer. They've got a new album out soon as well; would have been perfect to close one of the stages on Sunday night :(

Suppose I'll make do with Faithless for my big beats instead.

Rolf Harris to open 2010 Glastonbury Festival as Tinchy Stryder and more join line-up

Rolf Harris and Tinchy Stryder are among the new names added to the Glastonbury bill for 2010.

The Australian open the festival's musical action by playing first on the Pyramid Stage on the Friday (June 25) of the event. Tinchy Stryder will play the same slot on the Saturday. U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder will headline the sold-out festival.

Avi Buffalo, Candi Staton, Tony Allen and Steel Harmony have been added to the Park Stage bill, completing the line-up for the stage which is being headlined by The XX, Midlake and Empire Of The Sun.

I'm not that surprised, he's a pretty successful solo musician really in the grand scheme of things.
