Saturdays, are usually a more current headliner, Sundays are normally the classics. My big hopes are the Rolling Stones for the Sunday.

Maybe Muse Saturday and Radiohead Sunday

I would actually hate that. 3 bands I could not give a rats arse about headlining :|

But I could give a rats arse about 2 of them so my conclusion is, go **** yourself.

No need to be offensive, I can't help it you have strawberry floating terrible taste

The point was you were putting 3 bands of a similar style on, which really is not the Glastonbury way

Being as much of a music snob as the other guy

I don't even know why discussing the music is that relevant, anyway - Glastonbury's so much more than that.

I'm not being a music snob, he's the one who said Muse and Radiohead were gooseberry fool. It's not like I said his taste in music was terrible.

We are discussing it, because U2 just got announced. . For the 40th I am expecting big, big bands, sadly U2 do qualify under that umbrealla. Still high hopes for the rest.

U2 :fp:

Depending on the rest of the lineup I might not bother paying the rest of my ticket. Fingers crossed for Radiohead/Led Zeppelin/Muse/McCartney/Someone else blah blah Rolling stones!

So how about Madonna to headline?

Was amazing in the 80s. But I think the years of drugs and overeating have now taken their toll and it will be difficult to get back the brilliance of old. Would be good as a curiosity assuming Argentina do not offer a new contract after the World Cup qualifying.

It took over a month but I got the LOL I wanted in the end. ;)

I like the older music from U2 but have always thought Bono is a cock. If I had tickets I would go and watch them but I wouldn’t buy tickets just to see them.

If they get the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin then I am going to regret not bothering to register for tickets!

Yes, and in Glastonbury's case, it's usually Toff music!

Download/Leeds FTW!

Unless you mean that toff music is non-metal you're talking bullshit it's one of the more diverse festivals on the circuit

Muse and Stevie Wonder set to headline Glastonbury 2010

Michael Eavis reveals who will be joining U2 at festival

Muse and Stevie Wonder both look set to play headline slots at this year's Glastonbury festival, organiser Michael Eavis has revealed.

Eavis, speaking at the Event Production Show in the Olympia 2 in London today (February 2), confirmed Matt Bellamy's band for the Saturday (June 26) of the event. He said that it was probable that Stevie Wonder will headline the Sunday (27) night, reports Event magazine.

Michael Eavis' daughter Emily previously told BBC 6music that they were "still slightly confirming the Sunday night headliner but apart from that, we've pretty much finalised the Pyramid Stage".

U2 had previously been announced as Friday (25) night headliners. Hot Chip, Dizzee Rascal, Jack Johnson and Vampire Weekend also look set to play at the Somerset event.
