The GOW beta isn't that impressive don't all rush at once to be part of it, i've had it through bulletstorm since mid april i think it was and only spent an hour on it.

Found my spare beta code lying in my email inbox this morning. When does the actual beta end, on the 14th isn't it?

It ends on Sunday (though over here it might be Monday morning).

This is pretty good, as expected. It took a few rounds to get back into it but I'm very glad to be playing some Gears again.

It's not very surprising to have ranks and unlockables since it's all the rage at the moment but at least a gun and an outfit will be carried over to the full game. Are they the only things? I'm determined to get them unlocked before the beta ends (I don't know why - it's not as if they'll make a difference).

Something I've noticed is that if the host changes (I thought there would be dedicated servers?), the map and teams don't seem to change. Has map voting been removed from the game as well or has it just not been added to the beta?

Are many people here still playing it? It would be great to get some games going at some point.

Yes unfortunately, as it is a multiplayer only beta.

I think the Cole Train suit, Gold Retro Lancer, Flaming Weapons, and a Beta Tester name plate are all the items that will carry over into the retail game, though i'm not entirely 100% sure.
