I think she was joking

EDIT: Very funny, often amusing  :fp:

I don't know, it's the sort of thing you'd find in the Pseuds Corner of Private Eye.

Immediately what I thought of when I saw it. You're not Letterman, Johnny boy. :x

Tonight was okay. Hamilton was a bit withdrawn. I guess he really is shy in front of the cameras in such a setting.

SJP seemed okay actually. Probably the best guest.

Good to see Woss back.

Nice to see Wossy back. A slightly different feel from the BBC show which seemed more intimate and comfortable, like a room in a house. The ITV show feels like it is a massive dark black studio. SJP was a great guest. Lewis Hamilton was monosyllabic, and cagey. I wonder if he is gifted in other areas because I doubt Nicole Scherzinger is with him for his personality. Adele has a powerful singing voice but her conversational accent was chav central, just like every other girl from my part of town.

Ross' 80s show The Last Resort was directly inspired by Letterman. I guess that admiration has never dissipated.

I really don't think its fair to judge someone on how they come across on a talk show in front of millions of viewers. But then, you seem to enjoy prematurely judging celebrities.

Guests, yeah alright, but I thought the show itself was good. Set, in particular the backdrop, was very Leno/Letterman/Craig Ferguson et al. No bad thing. Adverts were a pain in the arse, but Sky+ can soon remove that problem. Was worried ITV would go down the silly set route, like Alan Carr or Paul O'Grady or something, but thankfully they didn't.

Good to have him back really - even if ITV are still wankshafts when it comes to bad language.

Hey. I'm not saying he is a bad person, I've always thought, from what I've seen from TV and the newspapers, that he is a thoroughly decent inspirational guy. But sure I can have an opinion on whether I find someone on a talk show interesting or not -and with Hamilton I didn't.

That doesn't explain your comment about Nicole. Whatever..

It simply means that whilst I perceive Hamilton to be a nice guy, I found him a boring interview subject.
Come on jamcc, there's no need to constantly go to war on my comments. I'm not your enemy. Lets both move along.
