I bought Infamous last week.

I've got no interest in Wipeout/Ratchet and Clank (I think I might already own it tbh)/Dead Nation(what is this I don't even).

No fair man. :(

Thanks

I love how all the anger and vitriol in the other thread has vanished once they throw a few free games at folk.

Not defending Sony.

But when play.com and shopto got hacked too, they didn't give away any sort of discounts to their customers. So it's better than nothing. Do agree the game choice could have been better. Or just give everyone £15 to spend on the PSN if they wanted.

Look at the watch....

Free games, you do not need identity protection...

*snaps fingers*

So, which games are you getting?

Yes?

They're announcing the specifics of that shortly.

I already have the ones I like :fp:  a good gesture none the less, but I'd rather see some more information on the identity theft side of things.

That's why Japan won't even let them put PSN back up in Japan. The government has said it needs to see the new protection measures or it will remain down for as long as it takes.

Its a gooseberry fool choice of games. If you don't have them, its good, but I don't know why the selection isn't much bigger.

They're trying to minimize the cost of the giveaway. Sony published games don't cost Sony anything to give away, and picking games that weren't selling any more means there's very few lost sales as a result.

You're not thinking like a gamer. Remember, you can give us the moon and we'll stilll find something to complain about.

I see, I thought it was some kind of reward....

Sony didn't have to do this, it's free! it doesn't make up for what they do and I am sure people who have had details stolen will still sue Sony.

This isn't to say sorry for your details being stolen this is for the PSN being down only!

It may not be much but it's free get over it.

Look on the bright side, the ID protection enrollments are going to cost them an absolute fortune.

Not sure why they couldn't have put some PSOne games in the list as well to ensure a better selection, and I'm sure that would have still limited the cost to Sony.

I've already played all 5 games, but I've since sold Infamous, so I guess I'll be getting a digital copy of that, not getting too excited over that though. Thankfully 3 of the PSP games I don't have, so I'll probably go with Modnation and Pursuit Force

Not gonna complain about getting some free games, especially when I wouldn't have used PSN whilst it was down anyway

Dead Nation and inFamous, please Mr. Sony Man
