Forza 4 Thread - Top Gear Car Pack Out May 1st

Still thinking of buying this. What paches and free DLC have come out?

Also, what racing sims are coming out this year, other than F1 2012?

Forza World should be out at the end of the year. No free DLC for this but there must be 6 or more car packs at this stage.

I think there was one free car released at the same time as each car pack. There was also a free Veloseter (sp?) pack. No sign of any new tracks being released so if the base tracklist doesn't interest you you're out of luck.

I know its not a console game but rFactor 2 is due out this year and I'll take any chance to post the historical GP trailer they released last year as its great.

The rumored Forza open world racer. Developed by a team headed by some former codemasters guys apparently. Should hear more at E3.

Got a new 360 to replace my dead PS3 the other day and got Forza 4. Not really had chance to play it yet, but Forza 2 was probably my most played game when I had my original 360.

This is the Hudson Hornet, available in the brand new July Car Pack (released yesterday)...

Got tomorrow set aside to play this as the missus has meetings with banks and gooseberry fool to sort her name changes.

So I really want to but this now but the best price I can find, eBay aside, is about £25. Is it still really that much? Should I just pick it up on eBay?

I don't see the harm in picking it up on E-Bay. I got my disk second-hand (from CEX, I seem to recall) and I was still able to purchase all the DLC, including the VIP pack, via Marketplace as normal. Up to you, fella.

Thanks, chaps. I really thought I'd be able to get it for £15 by now.

Getting really frustrated with this at the moment. I want to try cars other than my Ford Ka but every RWD car feels like it is driving on ice. Impossible to control and steer.

And when the car is inevitably sliding with little visual or audible feedback any correction turns into a full on steer in the opposite direction.

Is it realistic? I dont know. But it isn't much fun.
