Favourite actors and actresses?

Tom Hanks would be my purist choice, but Clint Eastwood is also up there as he is just the coolest actor of all time. Leo Di Caprio has a bit of bad rep but I think he is awesome, as is Kate Winslet.

Michael Biehn-was in two of the best sci-fi movies ever but is not terribly good, frankly.

Di caprio- though he was an utter scrote up until catch me if you can, recent output has been top notch if even if the movies haven't lived up to the performances.

I quite like Guy Pearce, Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey and Michael Gambon.

Plus plenty of others that people have already mentioned!

Bill Murray for sure.

Anthony Hopkins, man I hate that guy. The pot-bellied welshman is supposed to be a scary cannibal genius? Get to strawberry float. Plus he did those strawberry floating 'life is hokey' sky adverts.

Imma say Vincent Curatola, even though I'll probably never see him in anything again now The Sopranos is finished.

Michael J. Fox - For both his roles in the fantastic BTTF trilogy and the wonderfully charming sitcom Spin City.
Robert De Niro - I love his work.
Robin Williams - He's hilarious and a fantastic actor.
Sam Neill - Not sure why, but I find there's something very very likeable about this bloke.
Samuel L. Jackson - Seems like a reet nice man, plus I like his no gooseberry fool attitude.
Tom Hanks - Most lovable actor ever.

Thinking more recently I would go for these two:

Cillian Murphy: I've yet to see a movie with him in it that I don't like, he puts in a brilliant performance in 28 Days Later, and an even better one in The Winds That Shake The Barley; he's also suitably creepy as Scarecrow in Batman Begins. I've not seen Sunshine yet but it looks quite good.

Sharlto Copley: Jumping the gun a bit with this one, but I think he could become quite big. He plays Wikus Van Der Merwe in District 9 and I thought he was excellent - (no plot spoilers here just some snipets of info you might not know) especially since Christopher, and many of the prauns weren't even THERE half the time. He also handles both the comedic and emotional aspects of the character very well.
