Family Guy's also been absolute dirge since it returned from cancellation, bar about 3 episodes, they've ruined the best thing about the show in Stewie as well. At least American Dad is consistently funny, mainly due to the brilliance of Roger and Klaus.

You've clearly not seen S8e01 & 02.

OINK!!!

The first ep of The Cleveland Show had two bits which made it all worth while.

"ARGH! A black man! See? It's not very nice. It's uh.. very.. reductive."

and the best bit:

"She's lying!"

Second bit was amazing.

strawberry float off and die.

Painfully.

In a hospital so they can revive you and then you can die (painfully) again.

Fine you didn't like it but that's no reason for such vehement insults against Harry Bizzle. I don't really care if you were joking or not it's still not on.

I enjoyed the first episode of the Cleveland show. Even if Cleveland Jr has gone from skinny and hyperactive to large and inactive. But I'm sure that change is a joke in itself.

The first episode of FG was brilliant! I love the Road To... episodes, and this one had some fantastic animation to boot!

Because some people would rather come to this thread were the links to epsiodes are easily accessible instead of going through warez websites.

Great Topic! :D

I was wonderign where all the Southpark/FG/AD hype was.

Anyone watched the new South Park yet?

Family guy appears to be returning to it's earlier heights, and American Dad is slowly growing on me.

Just watched the new South Park and ep 2 of the new Family Guy. I rather enjoyed Family Guy actually. I like the Brian and Stewy episodes. Considering how much I dislike Family Guy since series 4 started, I was pleasantly surprised.

As for South Park...more of the same trend of pointless, half arsed episodes with jokes repeated over and over again, with the ever increasing need for a really violent scene to make it a bit more interesting. Shame really.

Gonna go get ep 2 of Family Guy and may even try Cleveland Show.

If you can keep this updated, it could be my favourite thread on here. I'll download and watch South Park/Family Guy tommorow.

Family Guy's problem is most of the jokes are either:

1. Peter: <insert inappropriate comment>

Character: <Long Pause>

Peter: <repeat comment>

or 2. Stewie: 'Remember the time <insert pop culture reference> did that thing with <insert pop culture reference>'

Which is why you're meant to take it light-heartedly. Not all comedy has to be absolutely insightfully brilliantly mature.

My problem with Family Guy is not that the humour isn't sophisticated, just incredibly repetitive and tiresome.

The Pilot of the Cleveland Show wasn't actually that bad.
