A survival horror game, where you’ll test yourself against puzzles and riddles as you investigate the eerie tranquility of the abandoned theme park. Don’t be deceived by the whimsical surroundings, something is awfully wrong in Crow Country.

Image
As you unlock new areas, backtrack and discover more, you gradually piece together why Edward really shut down his park and where he mysteriously disappeared to. You’ve heard some pretty disturbing rumors, but they couldn’t possibly be true…..right?

Image
For visitors to the park who are more interested in spotting crows and taking in the sights, Exploration Mode allows you to journey on without the fear of being attacked by the mysterious monsters roaming Crow Country. If you knew what those monsters really are…..

Image
Just how far would someone go to follow their ambition? Are some sins too wicked for redemption?

Image
A tale of reckless hubris and human greed, and now at the center of it all... you.

Who are you really, Mara Forest?

Anyone else been keeping an eye on this? Demo is up on Steam and the game is Deck verified :datass: it's one of the more exciting indies coming out this year, worth trying the demo if you can to get a feel of the game.

I know they're going for the PS1 aesthetics, but christ, this is a strawberry floating ugly looking game.

The early 3D look hasn't aged well.

I don't like the main character model in those screenshots, but I don't think that's because of the era it is emulating - I think it's just a bad character model with the hope the style will disguise it, which it doesn't.

Generally I think the 32 bit style is a good one for horror, I just don't like it here unfortunately.

The graphics remind me of Final Fantasy 7, I like the look they have gone for, if you get an opportunity to try the demo definitely give it a try.

The team behind this are based in London and also worked on the likes of Tangle Tower and Snipperclips.

Yeah FF7 was my first thought, along with Ecstatica.

Still waiting on a price. Steam version seems to unlock at 4pm, so hopefully we'll find out then.

I was hoping it would be under £15, but would have waited for a discount if it had been nearer £25. So it's all good.

Xbox - £16.74
Steam - £15.07 (after 10% discount)
PS5 - £15.49

Demo available on Steam and PS5.

I like the look of this and I'll probably pick it up to play on Steamdeck.

I'm not such a fan of the UI and how clean it looks (hard to avoid when imitating early 3D on a high resolution display - it can come out looking cheap) or the character models so much, but the environments look interesting and a bit nostalgic.

Got this on deck and played a couple of hours it's great. Music / sound is superb, game is a good mix of Resi Evil and SH3. Puzzles have well designed and have been interesting!

Looking forward to peeling back more of the story

Did anyone get the free disc with OPM with the net yaroze games on it? It had a great footie game on it with players names such as Jimmy Floyd Hooslebonk. It was fun.

Yeah, there was one called Rocks 'n' Gems I spent ages searching for and remember playing for hours when I was younger. Still haven't managed to play it again but I've watched vids:
