This doesn't sound like something I would be into. I was hoping it would be an Animal Crossing like village place for Avatars. :|

I'm still reeling from the assertion that "Journey are cool".

I don't like the sound of the Home-like arcade space.

More retro games can't hurt, but why not just release them on XBLA?

Albeit Much smaller and less cluttered I would guess. I presume it'll be the same size as the 'sky couch' room which is small but comfy.

EDIT: It's nothing like home as it can only have 2 players, that's a bit odd considering you can co-watch Sky with up to 8 folk! :? :fp:

I love the idea of custom challenges. I absolutely adore the idea of buying my games for both platforms.

What I don't get is why I would want to play shitty old games which are older than me when you could apply this gooseberry fool to the best current XBLA games. Geometry Wars 2 custom challenges on my PC? Yes plz.

No thanks. If by any chance I develop brain fever and want to play any of those games I'll get it free online.

A lot of people don't like seeing cheap retro games on XBLA, 1000 240 Point retro games added to XBLA over the next 3 years would drive them mad. Keeping those games to their own "channel" is more acceptable - it's a psychological thing I think.

We may be able to launch the games from the Dash as well as the Game Room anyways.

I don't get exactly get what this is doing feature wise. So basically we can do everything that we did before except we have to walk to these games now instead?

Well...I don't get it. You have XBLA that publishes old games/remakes/new content and XBL Community Games for people to submit and publish small games.

Why does Microsoft need to do this? Worse still get people to pay to play? 38p for a go...I remember Arcades cost as much as £1 but today they would be 10p at the most especially the really old stuff. Overpriced.

This is just as bad as HOME...another excuse to blindly rob from stupid people. It has no dignity at all.

Sort of like the idea. But "classic" arcade games are kind of gooseberry fool so I have little interest in it.

40 MS Pts for 1 play, fail in my book.

240 or 400 MS Pts for a shitty old arcade game - too expensive particularly when compared to the indie game costs.

The cost of MS marketplace content is a joke and the main reason I buy very few downloadable games and DLC.
