No it doesn't, it means that some people on the runs don't get on with him. If you've seen his videos etc before he can be a bit abrasive

Well whatever. It's a dick head thing to do regardless and there's a reason it's illegal.

Just sold my car. Best one I ever owned, despite the occasional Engine Malfunction message. Goodnight sweet prince.

On the other hand, WONGA

You probably won't want to give the Ka back, TBH.

Used some waterless car cleaner for the first time yesterday, wasnt expecting much but got results as good as the expensive shampoo I'd been using. Just requires a lot more elbow.

I got my first car yesterday. My aunt handed down her old car as a freebie so i've got a Ford Escort Finesse. I've no idea what cars are good and what cars aren't, but it drives really smoothly so it's good enough for me. Turns out I can't park for gooseberry fool though. I had a good spot outside my house earlier, but just couldn't get in the spot so ended up parking about a minute walk from my house like an idiot.

Welcome to the party, pal.

On the scale of good cars to bad cars, an Escort Finesse is not a good car, but its a hell of a lot better than no car - and free is free.

Parking is one of those things that comes with time, you need to appreciate the dimensions and maneuverability of your car and get comfortable with where you can fit it. If the road isnt busy and you are confident you can get in, spend some time practicing with it.

I was thinking of going down the sea front tonight when it's quiet and just practicing my parallel parking/reversing in to bays etc just to get the hang of it. Can anyone recommend a good app to use on an iPhone that's a good sat nav? I tried using the general maps one that came preinstalled but it just said the directions on screen rather than reading them out/tracking where I was as I was driving and then turned itself to the screensaver.

Dunno if it's available on iPhone, but I've used NavFree when touring Europe. Downloading country maps before I left and then using it offline was the main reason I chose it, but it had lots of other features which helped me not get lost. It saved me running out of petrol once too by telling me there were no petrol stations on my route and it was easy to include a small detour to the nearest one.

Recently I have used the basic Google Maps and that is great for general use, and does read directions out for you.

I use Google maps if I'm not using the TomTom. Works well enough to get me about when I'm at work.

Cool, will give both of those a download then. It's a weird feeling having my own car. I want to go out and play with my new toy, but i've got no where to go and no reason to go out. I already made an excuse to go shopping earlier but I can't do that again.

Just go for a drive? Go aimlessly and find something interesting.
