As always I'll give the first show a watch to see who they've selected for this years eclectic band of misfits. Any hot females being a nice bonus of course.
HOUSEMATES will be forced to sleep on the floor and scoff cold porridge in the cruellest Big Brother yet. The 16 wannabes entering the house tonight will be told they must endure the harsh regime. And they will be forced to do a range of bizarre tasks to earn the right to stay.
The eight guys and eight girls will begin the new series expecting the usual luxuries, but find a sparse room with no furniture. Those who prove their mettle to BB will move into the main well-appointed house from day two.
Then on Sunday viewers will pick who they want to be housemates from those still left in the barren set-up. Show boss Sharon Powers told TV Biz: "This year we want to shock the housemates. They'll be expecting a nice house with lots of nice furniture and a pool and all sorts of lovely stuff.
"But all they'll have is a living room full of crates and oil drums and they'll have to sleep on the floor.
"And if they want to wash they will have to use a bath outside and fill it up with cold water transported from the tap in a leaky bucket."
Anyone who does not make the grade will be sent packing without even an exit interview from show host Davina McCall. None of the contestants has been told they are housemates - only that they are going in the house. Sharon, who refused to say how many might be left behind, said: "We'll be testing their fears and pride and seeing how stupid they're prepared to be.
"Unless you pass a challenge you won't become a housemate."
Bosses dreamed up the nasty twist to inject life into the tenth series of the show, which suffered low ratings last year.
They want a return to BB's glorious early days. Most of the contestants battling for the £100,000 prize - all aged 18 to 40 - are single and "extremely attractive". Several are gay or bisexual.

One contestant has already been revealed as Miss Scotland wannabe Karly Ashworth, 21.

It'd be awesome if you got in.
