Apparently, if you are any sort of muso your are supposed to revere the Beatles. They are the best group ever. They are all saints etc. Modern music owes them everything.

I hate the Beatles.

I have tried not to. The countless nights spent around at mates gaffs, having a spliff, listening to them go on about how the White Album > everything. Going to parties, wandering into the kitchen only to witness some tit strumming away at a guitar singing beatles songs.

:x

When it comes to 60's music I'd much rather have any of the following than the Beatles:
Beach Boys
Velvet Underground
Rolling Stones
Love
Captain Beefheart
The Kinks
The Who

strawberry float, if push came to shove, I'd even rather listen to some of the more pretentious offerings of the Doors.

1. All too much. George Harrisons best work. My favourite Beatles song.
2. Blackbird. Beautiful Paul song.
3. Get back. An awesome Paul song.

There's far too many good ones to really choose though.

In no particular order...

While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Helter Skelter
Taxman

Out of those three, I'd probably say Helter Skelter is my favourite. The Beatles practically invented metal with that track.

They really didn't. I love the Beatles and all but they get credited with way too much

I was looking longingly at a few of the remastered albums in Tesco today, does anybody have them?

Are they worth it, I already have all the regular albums.

I've got a couple that I didn't have before and the sound quality compared to the regular ones is much much better.

Come Together
Helter Skelter
Yesterday

Difficult to think of the third, but I like it so much it has to be in there.
