Quite simply, one of the best episodes of BSG ever. It didn't drop a beat. It was riviting.

The preview for next week is obviously a fake-out, though. They wouldn't give something like that away in a preview.

Yeah, that episode was amazing. The pace just never let up, and the cliffhanger was awesome. Next week's looks fantastic too.

Guesses only:

I wouldn't be surprised if it's true - but that Tigh downloads somewhere.

They've got to explain the final five and their original resurection - and that would be the quickest way to get Saul to the "source"

Wow, that was fantastic :o

A theory I read on GAF regarding the big crack on the wall at the FTL drive:
Jube3 wrote:A friend of mine sent me this speculation bit of text he saw on a random forum. Ill spoilertag it just incase.
The Galactica herself is falling apart. Could the interpretation of "A dying leader will lead them to salvation" be the Galactica herself? Will the ship find a new home for them before it dies. Another thought is that by showing the Galactica falling apart slowly is in line as the fleet itself tearing apart.
I reallly like the idea.

Then I remembered this bit from ages ago in the episode named "The Hand of God":
Baltar imagines he's back on Caprica. Number Six asks him, "Have you read the Pythian prophecy, Gaius?" "Not since sixth grade. I can't say ancient history was my favorite subject." "You should have paid closer attention... 'All of this has happened before. All of this will happen again.'" "Everyone knows that verse. What are you getting at?" "Remember this one? 'Led by serpents numbering two and ten.'" "The Vipers! They're the serpents." "There's a later verse, Gaius. You should read it. 'Though the outcome favored the few, it led to a confrontation at the home of the gods.'" Are you telling that God guided my finger to that target for some... arcane scriptural purpose?" "You are part of God's plan, Gaius." "So God wanted me to destroy the Cylon base." "You did well. You gave yourself over to him." "Yes, I suppose I did. Yes, there's really no other logical expalantion for I was..." She corrects him, "Am." "I am an instrument of God."

I think this theory could turn out to be true. When Roslin saw the snakes at the press conference, perhaps it was nothing more than a drug-induced hallucination after all...

Thanks for reminding me Garth, with only a few episodes left they still haven't explained Head Six & her reasons for doing what she's been doing for the past 3 seasons.

I really hope they haven't forgotten about her, it'd be like Lost ending without explaining the black smoke or why Walt was so special.

That was bloody brilliant. I really love this show again after the last 2 episodes. That's an interesting theory Garth, the stain or whatever it was on the wall definitely has to have some significance anyway.

Next week's episode looks interesting to say the least!

I'm really liking the prophecy theory. It certainly fits.

Ugh, so the Basestar/Resurrection hub Ellen resurrects on has the standard Centurions...I was hoping they'd change the look or re-introduce the old Centurions.

Very disappointing. :(

Looks great though, just thought they'd change it up a little.

Also, i'd strongly suggest that anyone who hasn't watches the season 4 webisodes. I think it makes some of Gaeta's motives a little clearer.
